Does it ever make you sad when you see some of the questions or remarks here on yahoo Q&A? I admit that I am not perfect and that i have done a lot of things in my life that I am not proud of, but some of the things I see on here make me so sad. The mean remarks, the disrespect and mostly the people who are lost. I am a Christian, and I am not here to judge so don't go get all defensive on me Athesits!! I am simply saying that I really feel a lot of hurt in my soul for all the evil in the world. I actually find myself praying for the Rapture so that I can be with my Lord. I know that I am here to spread the gospel and exhibit a life reflective of Christ, but it really gets hard at times!!

God wants people who are strong in heart and soul right here on Earth to do his work - so get busy! [ kidding ]
All of us will go when the time comes, not before.Try to make a difference in something you feel strongly about - volunteer at a soup kitchen, work with battered women's shelter, educate kids about safety, etc.
Keep studying and praying - eventually you will figure out where you need to be.

The vulgarity of people is only the mark of those who serve the prince of this world - whether they call themselves "atheists", or "christians". You should not be surprised at it.

And, you most certainly ARE here to judge - that is called Discernment! That is how you are to identify evil from good.

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. [Romans 16:17-18]

You are not here to judge?
Few things make me more ill, than this clarion call of the contemporary church-goer! Note:

"Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." [John 7:24]

"But he that is spiritual judgeth all things"
[1st Corinthians 2:15]

If you love the Lord Jesus Christ, why would you be upset at the anger of atheists? You want "the Rapture"? This 19th century invention of being plucked away from "The Great Tribulation", is merely that: an invention of J.N. Darby & his disciple, C.I. Scofield, to appeal to the laziness of men and women who want an easy ride to heaven (as they believe they are bound for).

Read the parable of the unfaithful servant. What regard had Christ for sloth?

I understand being overwhelmed: I have been a preacher and writer (see www.theforgottenbible.org) for almost thirty years; have NO friends at all ... and am routinely lampooned and ridiculed - and I despise it - It is a dreadfully lonely existence.

But, my Master was ridiculed, tortured to death, for me.
How then, can I - or any FAITHFUL servant - expect anything better. What conceit to imagine that I deserve better than my Master!

Do not be overwhelmed: You may contact me anytime you wish at preacher@theforgottenbible.org - if you are feeling overwhelmed; I will do my best to encourage you if I can.

I remain,
Yours sincerely,

The more you know, the more pain you are going to have. Don't get sad, rejoice that you have been called out of a world of darkness into His marvelous light. having your sins forgiven and being in the present of God on a daily basic.

The scripture commands righteous judgment, that is how we put forth correction. You need not pray for the rapture, you are already in it. You are just ready to go home and so am I.

Keep your affection of things above and not on the earth. It might get lonely, but we are not alone, Christ is with us. He said I will never leave you, nor forsake you", and again "do not get weary in well doing".

The world cannot understand the things we have with the true and living God. "Eyes have not seen, and ears have not heard the things God have in store for them that love Him.

"For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him...for the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remaining shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. wherefore comfort one another with these words".

In order for one to agree with you, they would have to logically believe that anything non-christian is evil. I personally disagree with you, I too am a Christian but I do not believe that we can safely proclaim to have all of the right answers, the point is....there are over 100,000 different religions in the world, all which claim to be the one true religion with all of the answers. Who are we to say that we're the ONLY group that's got it right?

If you want to pray for these people or for the rapture, that's your deal but why not try to listen with an open heart and an open mind to what other people think and feel before passing judgment as to whether or not you deem them evil.

Hard is right. But remember there are a lot of young people on here that act very childish, don't let it bother you so much.
As a Christian, I can say that I have not always been the nicest guy on here, but still, I try to be nice, but sometimes the dumbness, and mean remarks get to me.

And, also I think Christians, in general, have been tolerant enough, already.

nah it doesnt make me sad. In my opinion, the world IS what we make it. I normally only choose to look at the positive, and let the negative go in one ear and out the other. Or just simply not think about it. It makes life a lot more fun to live that way. So to answer your question, no...these disrespectful and hate filled comments to even make me think twice.

Yes. It is sad that people come to the internet with their problems, but at least they are getting them out. Some people don't have anyone to help them and this way you can get an answer and no one will know it was you all along.
Overall don't complain about this website, because you are using it too.

It's sad that you pray for an event that will never happen and would send a lot of people to a truly miserable place.

I get sad that reality detached people that believe in the rapture and other really irrational dogmas are allowed to vote and procreate.

:(

Everyone feels sad at the injustices in the world at times. But that's the way life is. Praying that you'll die isn't a very healthy way of dealing with it.
