Or that the world was "created" in 7 days, or that Noah put 2 of EVERY animal in the entire world on a boat the size of a limo? I mean really people, don't you think it is time that you stop be brainwashed by a book that was written before people even knew that the Earth was round? I guess by your logic Dinosaurs din't exist either.

I'm catholic - - but it gets me mad every time I hear my pentecostal Aunt telling me I don' thave Jesus in me and how we catholics won't go to heaven because we are not in the true religion.

Same goes with other religions like Jehova Witnesses, etc.

People, am I the only one that believes, as long as you believe in a GOD, you're my friend?

We should stick together, not want everyone to force your religion to someone elses.

I don't go to church. My place of worship is nature. Wouldn't that be a more logical choice? Being surrounded by what God created? I feel closer to God by the ocean or in the forest. And I also feel when I'm by myself worshiping him, I have a closer relationship with him. It keeps away form the bigotry and discrimination of most religions. What do you think? Don't you think that would make more sense?

And please don't clog up the answers with long Bible scriptures. It's annoying. lol

Why blame Hitler when Martin Luther told people to do the exact same thing ?

Adolf Hitler: I believe that I am today acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew I am fighting for the work of the Lord " [ Mein Kampf ]

Martin Luther: [ in his last sermon, four days before he died, ] called for practical measures: burn their synagogues, confiscate all books in Hebrew, prohibit Jewish prayers, force them to do manual labour, but, best of all, drive them out of Germany.

Did I not tell you earlier that a Jew is such a noble, precious jewel that God and all the angels dance when he farts?---Martin Luther

“What then shall we Christians do with this damned, rejected race of Jews?
First, their synagogues should be set on fire, and whatever does not burn up should be covered or spread over with dirt so that no one may ever be able to see a cinder or stone of it. And this ought to be done for the honour of God and of Christianity, in order that God may see that we are true Christians.
Secondly, their homes should be likewise broken down and destroyed.
Thirdly, they should be deprived of their prayerbooks and talmuds in which such idolatry, lies, cursing and blasphemy are taught.
Fourthly, their rabbis must be forbidden under threats of death to teach anymore.” – Martin Luther

“If I find a Jew to baptize, I shall lead him to the Elbe bridge, hang a stone around his neck, and push him into the water, baptizing him with the name of Avraham!.. I cannot convert the Jews. Our lord Christ did not succeed in doing so; but I can close their mouths so that there will be nothing for them to do but to lie upon the ground.” – Martin Luther

This journey is amazing
Come walk a mile with me.
There is so much to do,
So many things to see.
I cannot stay for long.
My journey nears it's end.
I have so enjoyed your company.
You are an amazing friend.
Let us watch the sun as it sets
With it's brilliant vibrant hue.
I am thankful for this time
And thankful for meeting you.

However you see it, I wish you well.
Peace Be With You today and always.

i know the lord and i serve him best as i can, does that make me a target for mean jokes? i pray for these same people to realize thier mistakes and come to jesus, does that make me a " mentally deranged being" as some called me. i do not hear voices in my head, but i do speak in tongues and the lord tells me thigns to come, i have had many prophecies by God's people which came true just as the spirit spoke. you dont have to tell me to "prove it" to you, ask the lord. i have had more proof than nessassary in my life. he's more than proved to me that its all real, and i would never go back to how life was before giving my heart to him.so.... why does this make me crazy and why do i deserve all the mean words, because i have found true happiness and peace, and pray that you do too? dont you want to be at peace an dhave joy and happiness, and a friend who can work out all the wrongs in your life? all things are possible through christ, read the book:)

Or would this be like a classic case of psychosis?

I mean, I know there are those that are ignorant of the existance of God or simple reject Him. We know this is foolish.
For God said, "The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God.” Psalms 53.
But can one, consciencely be THIS far off the deep end?
Your thoughts?

I grew up in a tradtional church environment but I decided that I wanted to experience something different and attended this charismatic church camp over the weekend but I was shocked by what I saw.

I witnessed what was called the 'Baptism of the holy spirit.' As the pastor prayed, people all around me were speaking in tongues, laughing out loudly, falling down, shaking, vomitting, and there was even 1 case of demonic manifestation. I just stood there and nothing happened to me.

The whole experience was very traumatic for me and I felt uncomfortable during the whole thing...I didn't feel at peace, didn't feel that I was in a church camp at that time.

Is it normal that all these should happen?? I know that tongue speaking is recorded in the bible but wonder if tongue speaking is really that easy and does it really occur so frequently among people??

Many Athiest attend public places of worship more than many Christians realize. In fact they support the church financially, give to missions, help the homeless and even give toward church building projects.

Has anyone ever had such a positive life sharing experience with an Athiest?
