If Ur Truly Happy, why sweat it??? I personally believe that speaking in tongues was only for a time when the Jews assembled (from foreign countries that they were dispersed to) for Passover in Jerusalem so that the Disciples could witness to them. Today I truly believe it to be a "Learned Behavior" promoted by certain churches in a "Game" of "Holier than Thou" as there is Nothing that God needs to add to the Bible and if He did, why do it just "Locally" through individuals??? I think these people just want attention & to be special. Perhaps others feel the way I do especially looking back to the Scriptures & seeing what the "Prophets" went through & they even worked "Miracles" as "Proof" of their state of "Office". This may bring some insight to Ur situation. Don't worry about being "Crazy", as by questioning this it shows stability but perhaps misguided teaching??? John

Firstly the word religion is a misnomer-you and all like you, are not religious, merely superstitious!
You believe, yet have no proof-that is why it is called FAITH and not FACT!
It amazes me that in today's world people can still desperately believe in mumbo jumbo!
For the record, your so called "Christianity"that calls for "love thy neighbor" has through the ages, slaughtered more innocent people than all the wars fought, all in the name of GOD!
So,why don't you just wake up-or if you wish to cling in desperation to what you believe in-do it by yourself and with yourself-don't make it a public spectacle!
For the record, there was never anybody called "Christ" or even "Jesus".Check your facts before you open your mouth. So how is it you pray to and call upon those names?
Christ comes from the Greek word Christos-which means anointed.Jesus is actually referring to Yeshua-it was changed to Jesus because it sounder nicer and friendlier!
As for your prophecies-did you not know beforehand that I would reply in this fashion to you?So why are you still reading my reply?
Religion cannot and will never bring peace and joy-especially when you have people going to war in the name of God.

I'm not trying to tear you down or be disrespectful, but I do happen to think that belief in god is delusional. There isn't really a nicer way to put it and there's really no point in trying to put it a nicer way when delusional covers it. I am not making a judgement about any other aspect of you, nor am I claiming that you are a completely delusional person - only in the god aspect.
Look at it from the other side. I hope you to be free of this delusion, and if I was to NOT point it out and attempt to get you to see the error of your ways, THAT would be mean.
Speaking in tounges is the result of reiki energy being intensely internally cycled to very high levels. Relaxing your mental control over your vocal chords at this point will cause them to oscillate in a pseudo-random way. An interpreter can say whatever they believe you are saying. Logically there is no point to speaking in tounges.
As for prophecies, you don't say what. But people are largely predictable, and you are probably simply applying an 'instinct' - which is to say subconscious analysis - for behaviour trends.

I think that you are being double minded. Your committal to God is impressive, but you seem to be asking for assurance from those that do not believe. That might be what Paul meant by this:
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
I would ask you, if the whole world were not to believe in what you do, would you believe any less? Wouldn't you react by holding onto God's word even more? I would encourge you to act like that now. Because the whole world will approve of every persons opinion on things, except for the opinion that Jesus rose from the dead and brings life to those who trust him.
That would be my answer to you.

Speaking in tongues is part of your faith. You have every right to do so.It is your right under the 1st Amendment to worship as you please. Also people may not understand because you are communicating feelings instead of words per se.Act in your faith as much as you can in a comprehensive way.A schizophrenic is disorganized. But your questions are not.So if they put you down as "crazy" they don't know what they are talking about.

It can be difficult but take heart. We should expect this type of reaction from the world.

I commend your attitude. My advice is to keep this to yourself. You know, not tell anyone. When people do receive revelations, it's personal and sacred, they are meant for you, not others. People can be rude and cruel. Just ignore them. They are in the wrong for doing this to you. If you continue to endure and never lose your faith, you'll be blessed.

Cultivate a calmer mind. If what you believe is firm in your mind and nothing to be challenged you shouldn't have a thing to worry about and any "mean and ignorant" chatter wouldn't disturb you.

Your faith does make you a target. Jesus said it would be this way. Keep the faith. Fight the good fight. Find your strength in God.
