IF GOD:
cannot be seen face to face, yet you see him and even talk to him
is incorporeal, yet he exists somehow
is eternal, yet you say that all things imply a creator
is omnipresent, yet elusive for us feeble mortals
is omniscient and omnipotent, yet Adam and Eve managed to hide from him
created the universe and the world in a poof, but we haven't witnessed any of his POF creations lately (like a new continent or a huge new planet)
created Adam from mud and Eve from a rib, yet you have no proof
CAN do WHATEVER he can think of, yet he CANNOT lie, destroy himself, fail, sin, make mistakes
was never created, yet again, existence implies creation
has always been there, yet (same as above)
will never die, yet has feelings that are necessary to survive (like envy, anger, grief and shame)
will bring the good ones to heaven and send the bad ones to hell, yet no two religions agree on who is who
etc....
How do you think all these contradictions make for a believable deity?
