Yes there will be for appoxiamately 3 1/2 years.
No it wont be aliens it will be God.
It will be after those 3 1/2 years plus 3 1/2 years more of great tribulation = 7 years.
True peace will only happen when the Lord Jesus is back on earth to rule and reign.

Actually, according to the bible, except for who is going to do it, that is pretty much what God will do when the time comes.
Picture it this way, the so called rapture (not in the bible) is a means to remove those sinning all at once. Thus the call in Revelation "Get out of her,MY people, so as not to share in the fall of Babylon the Great (ALL FALSE RELIGION)

The antichrist will shout "Peace! Peace!". But there will be no peace. But worse tribulation than has ever been seen on earth before.
When Peace does come is when Jesus returns in the brightness of Gods Glory and the beast & false prophet is thrown into the lake of fire & the devils into the abyss.
Jesus Christ is Lord of lords and King of kings & he is reigning for the Millinium and people will live & not die. And us who are redeemed by His Blood will rule & reign with Him.

You may find the answer in your lifetime should they be raptured by Jesus. If so, you'll find there will be far less peace.
