It is some spin-off of the Pandora's box mythology, in which a woman is also to blame for all evil.

It is likely that the story of Eve tempting Adam with the fruit of knowledge is an ancient oral tradition remembering the introduction of agriculture, which brought about a sedentary lifestyle as opposed to a nomadic one.
This story continues when Cain (a worker of metal - which would have developed in a settlement where primitive forges could have been constructed) slew Abel (a shepherd, representing a more nomadic, hunter-gatherer life-style).
Eve is blamed because it is more likely that women developed agriculture while staying close to temporary encampments with children while men roamed about hunting.
They discovered that removing weeds from around productive and edible plants allowed them to grow and produce more food. But in order to care for them, they had to remain in one location longer. The "fruit of knowledge" may actually have been the fig, one of the oldest known cultivated foods.

it's been said that it's a mans world well that's not true the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world. in the garden of eden adam chose eve over God without the indwelling of the spirit of God man is just like any other animal on earth. as a similitude the first being that God created was the church a woman. it was fore ordained that man should fall it does'nt say that God blamed eve but it does say that adam tried to put the blame on eve. God asked adam why he ate the fruit and he said the woman you gave me gave it to me to eat and i did eat. in reality God blamed them both.

In a larger sense you are correct in this,as God placed Adam the head of the human race and not Eve it then follows that had Adam stayed faithful then there would have been no fall from grace, the responsibility lies with Adam.

Eve didn't bring sin into the world. Neither did Adam.
True, they decided to sin -- but they didn't bring sin into the world. It was brought to them and they "fell for it," to put it in the modern vernacular.
Sin was brought into the world by Satan.

The commandment was given before Eve was made, according to the creation account in Genesis 2-3, and so that means that Adam probably screwed up telling her about it properly - perhaps that is why she misquotes it.

Did you no longer examine 2 Peter 3:8"yet, loved, be no longer unaware of this one element, that sooner or later is with the Lord as 1000 years, and 1000 years as sooner or later."? no person in the flesh has lived a Lords day yet, nevertheless some got here close.i think Methuselah(Noahs grandfather)had the longest life span, which replaced into 969 yrs.,that replaced into recorded.Adam lived 930 yrs..in the backyard of Eden,Adam & Eve walked with God.The Tree of life replaced into additionally in the backyard, because of the fact of this it replaced into to be secure as quickly as Adam & Eve have been compelled to pass away.Had they no longer sinned, they might nonetheless be in the backyard to this present day i think yet it is purely my opinion. So,show me the place God lied.God is righteous and His notice is unchanging.that's guy that falls short in expertise.

Christians view women as property. The Adam and Eve lie is a tool to perpetuate the myth that women must be controlled by men.
