I don't know about acid trip, but to base a religion on a book that you wrote, or stole from someone else's idea is pretty out there. Magic underwear...? Don't forget the magic spectacles...so you can read the magic gold plates that some dead guy turned angel found for you to read. What about all the stuff that is totally different from what the Holy Bible teaches? Then we come to Galations 1:6-10, which warns of accepting a different gospel even if it comes from an angel from heaven, or elsewhere. Perverting the Gospel of Christ is a Sin. I feel kinda sorry for the thousands of people who have been led astray by the leadership of the LDS Church.

yeah, just like christianity.
a big, false cult experience
one guy complains of gold plates that later disappeared, so that makes it silly becasue of the "explanation" for it all, being so far-fetched.
well, in xianity, the entire savior died, and then disappeared into the sky, and the four apostles have four completely different (conflicting) stories about the "resurection" -- but NO, that's not far-fetched, is it?

I've been a Mormon all my life and have never done drugs once, so I don't think so.

My belief is that Mormonism is completely illogical, but I don't think that you need to be on drugs to believe it.
From my understanding, drug use is completely forbidden to Mormonism, in fact, they don't even allow you to drink tea or coffee.
