I need some info on Baptism ASAP. Who participates in the baptism ceremony? What programs are available for parents and godparents prior to the baptism? How is the importance of community is represented through the Sacrament of Baptism in the Catholic Parish? If anyone can help out, I would really appreciate that.

My friend Sherry told me that people that lead sin free lives but aren't Christians go to a place called heck. Heck isn't quite as bad as hell, but I guess it still sucks. Has anyone else heard of heck?

Just wondering. I feel that we are attacked a lot (I am Christian). Maybe it’s because you guys feel attacked? If so then trust me - Christians are not trying to attack you. They are doing what they think will help you. Hope you guys can understand that.

why do you put God in a box and say,"GOD cannot be revealed in 3 forms.(Father Son and HolySpirit) and still be One Holy God, to reach out to His people in 3 forms?)

i mean, if God is all-powerful, nothing is impossible for Him. and if He wants to save the world, and bring the world to Himself, why should He sit on His throne and do nothing? at least i know my God is Merciful and Powerful enough to come down from His throne and be manifested in Jesu Christ to bring the world back to Himself!

So I was watching the History Channel earlier today and they were talking about prophecies from different cultures predicting the end of the world. Supposedly the world is going to end according to the Mayan calendar in the year 2012 Things such as the Iraq War and Global Warming are signs of the end times. I think that world might end in December 21st 2012 but in the Bible it says that no one knows the hour or day or anything about when the world will end. Also I wonder who the Antichrist will be? Could it possibly be the next president of the U.S or someone else?I was just wondering if anyone else believes this or not I just want to know peoples thoughts on this.

Do you take the opportunity to answer reasonably, and thus possibly encourage the asker to seek out your point of view, or do use your faith system to tell the questioner they must believe as you do - and not only lose the chance to tell your views, but to also cement in some people's minds that your faith system is narrow minded?

god exists, but it cannot be proven, as long as you have faith.

therefore, anything that you have faith in MUST exist, especially if it cannot be proven.

there is no evidence for the existence of little green men living on mars, but as long as someone has faith that they are there, they must exist.

maybe there's some ancient martian text yet to be discovered.

I have heard fundamentalist Christians, like Ann coulter, who have claimed that science is a religion. OK. Science is a religion. And my religion has produced, fire, cars, skyscrapers, planes, trains, computers, television, and all sorts of things that make life good.
