Often wondered the same thing. Doesn't having Jesus as a "Savior" make God's love conditional? Maybe Jesus was really just showing us that we all had the potential to be divine and as spiritually close to our Creator as possible. Good question, never a good answer.

Men are supposedly created equal in direct reference to the law. God never said all men were created equal. That's a human invention enshrined in the tenets of humanism and the multicultural crowd.
Think about it. If you go to college for four years and earn a bachelor's degree say, in education, and you're contributing to society by teaching essential skills such as reading, mathematics, science, writing and English grammar and composition, history, etc, should someone who quit in the ninth grade and is flipping burgers at McDonald's make the same yearly wages as you?
I can't link the part of your question about the equality of man to your inquiry about needing a savior. I can't see the nexus between the two. Sorry.

thats a good question, but your question answers itself. We are CREATED equal, but we are also individuals. That means we make different choices and have different lives. Through those different choices we are judged.
The fact that we need a savior is that we are all born into original sin. We have to realize that we have a sinful nature and need to CHOOSE to accept the forgivness fro out Savior.

Man is created in Gods image.
When we reach the age of accountability of our sins, we choose to either walk the path of God or walk the path of Satan.
When we accept Christ as our personal Savior, we are forgiven, saved and will inherit the Kingdom of Heaven when we die.
Although we are created equal, some choose not to be saved and live for Christ.. that is the difference.

In my honest opinion, we are all equal and we will be judged. Unfortunately, the judgement we deserve is not the judgement we want. That's why we need a Savior. By accepting Jesus as our Savior, judgement is set aside and we are forgiven by grace.

Judged doesn't mean condemned. It means that the thoughts, the attitudes, the actions and the outcome of your life will be accountable to God's judgment day. Taking this in account, you bet you need a Savior...who does not?

Okay, try this: Everyone in a family is guilty of speeding and all must appear before a judge who is not forgiving. The fines they have racked up are very high, too high for them to pay. If they don't pay, they will be cast into jail. But they have a neighbor who cares very much about them and is very wealthy. What is the point of that neighbor paying the fine for them? Well, if the speeders will accept that gift, they are off the hook!

Ditto Jesus. He satisfied the justice God demands. If we will only accept His payment, we will not go to hell, but to heaven to live with Him.

Jesus has paid for everyone's sins--no exceptions. God loves us all. But He has given us a choice. He does not force us to accept Him, although He wants us to.

we are all judged equal as in fairly no person is just tossed in hell because he was born on the wrong day or something.
the Savior makes it possible to be forgiven if you confess repent and believe

Men are created equal, but we all have free will and all are sinful. We need a Savior to redeem us since we can never be perfect, as God is worthy of.
I can explain more fully if you really would like me to; please email me if you want to!

We are all judged, and we're all guilty. So our punishment is hell. And the Savior saves us from that fate. It's a gift, not something earned.

Romans 3:23 (New International Version)
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Romans 6:23 (New International Version)
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ephesians 2:8 (New International Version)
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

John 3:16-18 (New International Version)
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[f] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

Sorry for the longness of my answer, but I thought it'd just be more convient for you to include the verses.
