What do you think about this attitude:
"Let all of us become genuinely sincere, grateful and respectful of the One Who Gave us Life, to Mother Nature and to ourselves"
Please replay this to send it to all politicians, so they may use it, even-though it would be difficult for them to practice it. Are you agree?

25 "Be quiet!" said Jesus sternly. "Come out of him!" 26 The evil spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek.

27 The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, "What is this? A new teaching—and with authority! He even gives orders to evil spirits and they obey him." 28 News about him spread quickly over the whole region of Galilee.

On the subject of contraception.
I was told by a priest that the reason why contraception is frowned upon is because it interrupts with the "natural flow of life" ie to have a baby.
Question: If then someone fell ill with cancer (a cancer not caused by smoking, drinking, sun etc etc..just a bad luck one) then would the natural flow of life not be to let the cancer run it's course and thus not allow medical treatment?
What do catholics think?

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

What happens to the people who spend their whole lives earnestly and devoutly searching for God and yet never find Him? You know, the ones who say, "If I can find enough evidence to believe that there is a God, I could definitely learn to love and worship Him"?
I wonder about those people all the time, and I also wonder if they ever found what they were looking for. Then I wonder if it did any good, and if they were right. Then I start to wonder if I'M right.
After that, I look back over WHY I believe, and that part of my mind is at rest, but then...I start wondering about those people again.
Does anyone else have a similar experience?
Please, no lectures, just wondering if I'm alone in this.
And while I respect other peoples' opinions, and would welcome them gladly, I humbly request that your answers be kind and respectful!

For me, I would say Che Guevara. He inspires people to fight for freedom.
Jesus has inspired the Republican Party, Nazis, the KKK, Salem Witch Trials, and the Crusades.
I rest my case!

After a long examination of my beliefs, I've come to the conclusion that they are most closely related to that of a pantheist. Since I don't believe in a personal "god", does this put me in the atheist's category or am I just a little closer to that now?

So Christians, if you collect HUmmels or Disney paraphanalia or anything that doesn't have to do with God or Christ or if you are addicted to American Idol or Dancing with the Stars, does that mean you are worshiping false idols?

Am I right in think that Catholics are ok with natural forms of contraception but not barier methods? If so, then why? Contraception is contraception. It means preventing pregnancy. It means having sex for pleasure and not for creating a live. I find this bizzar - does any one else?

Without googling and cutting and pasting an answer, please. Using your own "God given" brains. If god created all, he created evil too. Why?

I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil. I am Jehovah, who does all these things” (Isa. 45:5-7). Don't dodge and say it was translated incorrectly. The hebrew word for "evil" here is "ra" and it truly means "evil."

If god is all powerful, he could have limited evil in any way he could. Take for example, raping a child. God could have placed limits on our ability to do that. It doesn't interfere with free will, we already have lots of limitations similar to that. For instance, I can't kill with my thoughts or set someone on fire by breathing on them. These are natural limits to the evil I can do. God could have set up lots of natural limits.

Thanks for your answers.
