God allows us to provide safety for our family, why wouldn't He do the same for His?
Besides - It is the law that if a building is so many feet high (and it varies by city/state) than there MUST be a lightning rod.

Almost every major city requires lightning rods as a safety ordnance. Even if they didn't it's still a good idea to have one. Lighting strikes don't tickle you know.

Oh my, and when did a natural phenomena such as lightening become the judgment of god? That is a silly old wives tale.
They have lightening rods because they are usually the tallest buildings around, and thus, attract lightening. It's physics, not faith!

Faith has nothing to do with it. If God has provided us with things we need to be good stewards and take care of what we have been given. Having faith does not mean that nothing bad will happen to you, it means that you know you have God to help you through good times and bad times.

State or local safety laws require them for most public buildings. As Christians, we are to obey the local laws as long as they are not immoral.
