Go ahead. It's not for me, but if you think it will make you happy, I'm glad for you.

My most major problem with it is that it has no respect for any other religion or for atheism. Some of the followers do, but the religion itself is non-inclusive and fear-mongering.

Best of luck.

I won't give three reasons to stop you because you are adequate enough to make your own decisions, however I will caution you and ask you to consider, what you do from there is your buisness:

1. There is the habit that every new Christian gets into and that's being fake and putting on outward appearances to please the peers around you , you will spend a good portion of your time worrying about what others think about you, and never feeling like you're good enough

2.There is also the aspect of abandoning all common sense because the main text of the bible is truth and nothing else can be true. There is no room for change or reconsideration when you become a Christian.

3.If you join a fervant protestant church (particularly the bible ones), I promise you will end up alienating everyone around you. Every five seconds the words jesus and god will come out of your mouth, you will go through drastic change that your family will wonder where on earth it came from, and they'll appreciate it but sooner or later it becomes annoying.

I say this to you because these are some of the things that I went through, they may seem petty and unimportant but they play a big role when it comes to your faith. I know because I've been there, I was a fervant on fire protestant and experienced all these and more

To make the situation more fair, here are some pros for Christianity to consider:

1.happy after life (assuming you do the right things)
2.You inherit a best friend so to speak in Christ
3. No matter what you do, someone upstairs loves you.

Take all things into consideration and study the doctrines and really ask yourself if you can believe it, if you feel that some minute part of you can't then don't because Christianity does not allow for doubt even though they say they do. It doesn't work that way.

Definitely go ahead. If your interested in Christianity the Holy Spirit has been working in your heart. Don't listen 2 people on here, trying 2 stop you, do what is right. I became a Christian a year ago nd can honestly say it was the best thing that ever happened 2 me.
So i havent got ur 3 reasons against but ive got 2 BIG fors: 1)You will have the best life you could ever dream of. This doesnt mean it'll be perfect and happy all the time, but u will definitely have a full life. 2) When you die you'll have eternal life with Jesus in heaven!
And there's nothing i can say thats better than that!!

#1 There are other religions out there. Have you looked at all your options? Have you looked at every/most Christian
sect(s)?

#2 there are many inconsistancies between the Bible and the faith that is actually practiced. The most blaringly obvious is that Trinity is wroshipped, yet the Bible says that "Your God is One"

#3 You would not be asking this question if you were not sure. Go to church without officially converting and see if you like it. Then make your decision.

I hope you find a good fit for you. conversion is a big decision and you should take your time. Don't go through with it if you aren't sure.

You should do what is in your heart, Allah will show you the way.

Religion is not something that can be forced upon someone. It is to be excepted by the person with their whole being. For you to tell people that they need to find you reasons not to convert you show that you do not really want to convert.

It you do truly feel that you wish to convert to another religion than your own then you should study it. Read the bible and other religious text. Go to a Christian church. But I suggest that you think about this for at least a year , or more if you need it, before you make your decision. In that time you should be studying the religion. If after that time you still believe that you want to convert to Christianity then do so.

1. You decide that going to hell in a handbasket sounds like a ton of fun.
2. You realise that getting to know the God that made you, and finding the God-given purpose for your life is pointless.
3. You decide that you're indifferent to the blood-bought redemption of your eternal soul by the Son of God on Calvary. Oh, and forgiveness of your sins is irrelavant.

....... OF COURSE you should go ahead with it you Goob! :)

**just as an FYI, make sure your motivations are right, and that the church teaches sound doctrine. Get a bible and start with the book of John. Oh yeah, and if you are converting.... make sure that you know in your heart, that the gospel is about love and grace.... not condemning others and hypocracy. (unfortunately..... thats found in a few churches here and there. But that doesnt mean YOU have to be like that.)

I can't think of a single reason! But before you become a Christian, count the cost. Revelation 3:15-22 has sobering words about luke warm believers. God has no time for them and Christianity is not merely a hobby or intellectual philosophy. As Isaac Watts expressed it: "Love so amazing, so divine demands my soul, my life, my all." It's total commitment or nothing! I pray that you may follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit and come to know the Lord.

not even a single. in case you desire to transform, merely convert. you ought to not be puzzled and ask for any reasons. merely evaluate the experts and cons of your modern-day faith and Christian faith, and take a variety. it is all so a techniques as Gandhi Ji, i'm uncertain whether he stated this. yet whether he stated this, it would be simply by fact of that on the single hand Jesus made that plenty sacrifices and alter into in favour of non-violence. jointly because it substitute into English people - Christians - who ruled over India with super cruelty and racism. Love & Regards...

You don't need a reason. If you are attracted toward Christianity this means God is drawing you.

Seek him. Read the Bible. Call on the Lord Jesus. Ask him to forgive you. Pray often. You are receiving a gift when the Lord calls you.

To each his/her own. Why should I try to stop you?

Hopefully you won't become one of those born again fundamental christians. The world doesn't need anymore of those.

And remember, nobody likes a person who preaches their faith and tries to convert others. It gets really old after awhile.
