Does that mean some of the story was never told?

I mean, you believe he was divine and all...not really much of a sacrifice. Humans have certainly been beaten to death, crucified, etc...(read some of the ways the Inquisition killed people....terrible stuff).
Plus, you claim Jesus knew what was gonna happen. Again, not much of a sacrifice.
The soldier who throws himself on a grenade to save his friends, that's a sacrifice. He knows he's not going to be alive again in 3 days. He knows it's forever, yet he does it anyway.
That's a real sacrifice.

According to a lot of stuff I have been reading today, it seems clear that Jesus was gay, this includes the discovery of the so called Secret Gospel of Mark, in which it is clearly outlined that sexual union between Naked Man with Naked Man was a fairly regular practive within the Disciples.

There is widespread eveidence of passages of the bible being altered to remove the Nake Man with naked man comments and replace them with vaguer comments about 'love'

And check this passage out:
But the youth, looking upon him, loved him and began to beseech him that he might be with him. And going out of the tomb they came into the house of the youth, for he was rich. And after six days Jesus told him what to do and in the evening the youth came to him, wearing a linen cloth over his naked body. And he remained with him that night, for Jesus taught him the mystery of the Kingdom of God.

How does that make the Christians feel, especially those who preach intolerence towards queers?

Regardless of his divinity, were his teachings ethical?

Saw a skit in church about someone selling salvation for a price, and the person "buying" eventually found out that salvation is free except for the asking.

But I thought salvation was a gift. You don't ask for a gift, you just get it. And you don't refuse something that's a really good thing, you just gasp and say thank you!

Hey All,

I just was interested to hear what you all thank God for and the things that make you happy to be a Christian! He has blessed me beyond comprehension and I know He has everyone who believes is Him. Thanks for your time and happy posting!

person? I can see how probably a lot of the time they'd be the same, but it seems like some people just do what they have to do to get into heaven and don't care about going above and beyond to be a "good" person.

I know this sounds disrepectful but I really don't mean for it be. I am really curious. I notice that most qoute the bible as an answer to a question, but it doesn't always match up to other things in the bible. So why is it always the answer?

The greatest thing that happened to those people was the gospel of Jesus Christ being introduced to them and their families. No more eternal damnation.
