Yes, hate evil! Some of the Fathers of the Church even talk about having to being violent - violent in the struggle against evil within ourselves - hate what is evil, love justice. I hate when I sin. I hate the fact that sin is in the world. We are told to love God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength and love our neighbors as ourselves, the devil is not our neighbor and is against God. So go ahead and hate him!

A word on tolerance - tolerance is not a Christian concept - love is; tolerance is not - you can hate someone and still tolerate them - toleration simply means that you will let them live without interfering. Take for example this sentence, "I hate you, abhor you, but I will tolerate you." Tolerance is an idiom of modern society, but not a Christian concept.

I think it's usually a bad thing when Christians worry about the devil. Inevitably, they start seeing the devil in everyone around them (such as women in the MIddle Ages, Muslims, Jews, anyone who questions them). As long as they're hating a red guy who lives in a fiery pit in the center of the earth, it's no biggie. In my view, Christianity is supposed to be about loving other people but hating the dark side of human nature (what I believe the devil is supposed to represent).

You are correct! We are tolerant and should love one another. You don't have to hate the devil, but avoid his trap to sin and temptation.

How can you make the world better today if you were to show love to everyone that you meet and talk to online?

Those who want to follow God diligently should depart from all iniquity, just like what St. Paul said.

2Ti 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

If you are of God, you should depart and hate iniquity. Because if you love these things then you are against or an enemy of God.

Jam 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

You are completely correct. The Devil is the origin of all sin and that is why I hate him so much. I also hate sin. The Bible is clear that God hates sin, therefore as followers of God we should do the same. But Christians should love and care for their neigbours at all times. By neigbours I mean, fellow Christians and non-Christians.

We are supposed to hate evil in order to guide us to be more holy and righteous

Psalm 97:10 NIV
Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.

Proverbs 8:13 NIV To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.

Amos 5:15 NIV
Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts. Perhaps the LORD God Almighty will have mercy on the remnant of Joseph.

the devil / hell are just lies and deceptions of christianity - so shall they go to there and burn in their own hell . . .

hate hate... then there will be Only Love !

and, do this:

Create a private, personal, direct, divine Relationship with Our Creator and save your Soul from religion.

Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.

Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!

"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ, Buddha and any one else with Spiritual intelligence.

atheists = all the people in religion

To love and hate are separated thinly by a thread. You can love or hate but you must have a reason for that hate or love. HOw can you love something for no reason or hate it for no good reason either. If you can answer why you hate or love then you have the right to hate or love it/him/her, etc.
