I think there has seldom been a better case of a truly virtuous man who lived his faith to a heroic degree. Now, it looks as if the miracle requirement is taken care of, as well!

I ask you this question respectfully.

I have heard those who think of the bible as a series of metaphors to give you wisdom on how to live your life.

Then there are those who think every word of the bible should be taken as letter of law.

I would just like your input on this matter.

Thank you

What exactly is so sinful about A.nal [sorry about the period, but yahoo blocks the entire question for that word]] s.ex [and this one sometimes]?

Why do so many Christians see this as some weird abomination? Please do not just use the bible, as it says many things [like signing a contract] are wrong, and killing people who insult your mother is okay.

Also, have any of those anti-an,al Christians tried it? How do they know it's so bad? If I have to prove to a T [to them] that a small group can become a new biological species, why don't they have to prove a,nal is painful to themselves? {Weak criticism, I know, but the question is valid}

Gods, this makes me sound like such a pervert.

See ajwrb.org (Associated Jehovah's Witnesses for Reform on Blood) Look at the pie chart. The Watchtower Society "allows" all components of blood. They allow "conscience" use of blood components that were extracted from whole blood donated by others. There is no possible reconcilation of this issue. Yet many JWs have died rather than take a blood transfusion. JWs have died in the past for things they are allowed to do now as "conscience matters." Ask any JW just what refusing blood really means any more. No one of them can give a straight answer because their leadership won't give straight answers. Yet this is a matter of life and death!

When you say this, do you mean all religions, or just a few of them---or just the Christian ones?

Do you strictly go through life by everything that the Christian Bible teaches?
If not then why call your self a Christian?
If you do not believe in what the bible tells you, but you believe in Jesus, do you still call yourself a Christian? If so, why?
What are the requirements to be Christian, just to believe in Jesus?
If all you have to do is believe in Jesus, then why have the bible?

# 1. For no particular reason, hug your mate (if your mate is not available, write your mate or any loved one a sweet note.)

# 2. Then, at random, flip open your Bible, or a dictionary, or your favorite book.

#3. Then read that particular page that was randomly selected, and see if the words on that page apply to your recent thoughts, activities, or concerns.

#4. Of course, please respond to this question by giving us the applicable words found on that randomly selected page.

(I am so afraid that no one will take the time to run this experiment with me. I invented this experiment about 10 years ago, my Mom used to get a kick out of it.)

I'm askin this because if the Lord only built one church/kind of churches, then why do we have so many different ones when the Bible warns of division within the Church and Jesus prayed against it. If you'd like to engage more on the topic, don't hesitate to email me at cedbatch@yahoo.com

If you have a Bible look at Ephesians chapter 2 verse 8-9 and Titus chapter 3 verse 5. These are from the New Testament of the Bible. If you have difficulty finding them, look in the front of your Bible for the page number.

Why is it when someone asks a question in this category that asks something that questions religeous beliefs they are yelled at for being mean, stupid, illogical, trying to cause trouble, or bashing others? But when a religeous person questions a non believers reason for not believing then they are just curious, not being mean, not pushing their religion on anyone, just asking etc etc.
And why is it when we give an answer it is automatically put down because "that just doesn't make sense". Why ask the question if you don't really want to know - don't ask!!! Just say ok i am saying this is my opinion & i just want someone to agree with me. Wouldn't that be more correct?
Personally on this one i don't care if you agree with me or not, but i would like an honest answer not just quoting scripture cause you can't take the time to come up with how "you" feel. Or just saying cause believers are stupid or illogical or any of the things they say to us when we question them.

Most living things out of nature let's say have instinct to mate with opposite sex. For human it is through marriage or through male and female living together. How on earth can any teachings that encourage or support celebracy or to remain as singles? Yes, such thing depends on one's wishes. But... anyway, which religions that teach marriage is something ordained by God.

I just dissected a fetal pig in my Biology class and we have to do a lab-writeup on it. In it, we have to thoroughly discuss the differences between the fetal and human thoracic cavity, digestive system, circulatory system, excretory system, endocrine system, and the reproductive system. I have some information on it but need more. Any help would be great! Thanks!! :)
