floatpool ... will due respect .... those people you mentioned are not atheist .... they are called communist forged together with Lenin Idea. Atheist does not follow Theist idea where there is a god or a supreme being, Lenin's Idea follow closely to Theist idea, declaring himself to be a god-equivalent or a supremacist leader and there are no god but there are supreme leader which are themselves, sounds familiar? Read up the bible you will find similar lines. Read up communism and Theist idea before you come up with your own interpretation ....

But George Bush, well, he is definitely a Christian, since god tell him to go into war with the middle east counties ..... LOL,

I think Christians are more open-minded. Many Christian countries have teachings done in their school about evolution, no God, no or nothing about spiritual. Now the Christians who live out of this would want to correct the wrongs but it is tough as you see. Atheists would want to hear no more about God and his salvation plan for everyone.

Never had a problem with that part of atheists. I have a problem with them trying to take christian's freedom to worship anywhere away from them. Atheist beliefs are allowed to be talked about without conflict in government and in school, but not christian. how is this fair.

Sure. I am a Christian, and am very open minded. A lot of modern day Christians are not judgmental. I hope you find a theory you like!! :)

I thought an atheist didn't believe in any type of after life. That would be closed minded. If you just don't know if you believe or not then that would be open minded.

I agree with you and have the same question.
Why don't Christians just let us be who we want to be?
Is their god trying to recruit people, trying to "save" us?
If god was an understanding being, then he would see that we choose to learn rather than believe. If he was real he would be happy that we choose to be open minded instead of believing blindly.

I use "he" for a lack of gender.

Atheists are not open minded.

If they were, they wouldn't be so obnoxious toward people they've never met practicing a religion atheists don't care for. That sounds closed minded (and bigoted) to me.

Doesn't effect me, I'm a Christian. Any way good for you to being open minded, people in this world are losing that.
