Please substitute the word Even with Only and then your question makes more sense.
We human beings are above animals in that we have the capacity to decide our destiny. Animals cannot do this.
And another good news for you. Celibacy is not compulsory.
It is optional. Some people believe that in order to achieve a higher spiritual consciousness they need to dedicate all their mental capacities to that pursuit.
But you pesonally do not need to evolve into a higher calibre of person.

Christianity teaches that Marriage is ordained by God. I would assume that Judaism and Islam do too. In the bible marriage is a covenant between the married couple and God.
Celibacy is also ordained by God. It is considered a calling and a gift. It is not for everyone, but many people choose it as an act of sacrifice for God - either temporarily or permanently.

Just about all of them. Besides, nature doesn't teach a human to live with the opposite sex; for humans it's men mating with every women they come across, and hoping she's fertile. Like Dolphins. At least, that's at the basic level of nature

Matrimony is Divine and by no means a human institution. In fact, matrimony is considered a Sacrament in Catholic theology. A Sacrament is an outward sign instituted by Jesus Christ to give grace. Therefore, marriage is a divine institution, it is truly the plan of God for procreation. Mark 10:6-9
Mark 10: 6But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.
7For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;
8And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.
9What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
In 1 Cor. 7:32-33 St. Paul exhorts, "I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord's affairs--how can he please the Lord. But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world--how he can please his wife--and his interests are divided."
In Matt. 19:1-12, there is the teaching of Jesus regarding divorce. Here the disciples ask Jesus, "Is it better not to marry?"
please look at the words of Jesus Christ:
Matt. 19:11 Jesus replied, "Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. For some are eunuchs because they were born that way; others were made that way by men; and others have renounced marriage because of the kingdom of God. The one who could accept this should accept this."
Notice, the words of Jesus Christ! "Not everyone can accept this teaching." it is only by God's grace that this teaching and calling can be accepted

which religions teach marriage is something ordained by God?
I would have to say that MOST religions teach this.
and nature encourages mating...mating to propogate the species. Nature does not encourage the male and female to co-habitate with one another. In fact, in most instances, it actually DISCOURAGES it.

the bible said it was right for Adam to live alone.
! Timothy 3:1 Says that a man should be a husband of one wife.
this is talking about those taking the lead. So most every religion recognizes this except the priests in the Roman Catholic Chruch and look at the problems it has caused it just isn't natural for a man to live alone.
That should be easy to figure out.

God states in the bible that is is not good for man to be alone.
This pertains to all religions except for the catholic priest. This
is a man made religion with man made rules. Of course it is
up to the individual and his or her personal beliefs. IT is such a personal choice.

Not as many as you would think. Marriage is a legal thing. It CAN be religious, but it doesn't have to be. Many religious have some sort of ceremony as an addition to marriage.

most christian faiths and Jewish and Muslim sects believe that their god conrtolls everything. so these beliefs would be the ones that have marrriage as a direct thing of god.
