In other words, if a baby and/or a kid dies before growing old or into an adult, goes to Heaven, & the parent[s] follow years later, will they reconize each other even with that new body? Does the kid and/or baby continue to grow into an adult while in Heaven waiting for its parents? As all receive a new body, would the kid and/or baby's body be full-grown? If not, what's the purpose for having adults, kids, and babies in Heaven if the kids & babies aren't grown up?

I'm tired of having to go to the local church to take more copies from behind the pews when I run out of kindling for the fireplace,so I was hoping someone knew of some group that gives out free bibles that delivers.

God cast the devil into hell and hell is like a prison for eternal punishment from which even God can't grant a pardon.

Then why am I always told that the devil is walking up and down the hallways of high schools tempting teenagers to do drugs and have pre-marital sex and those sorts of things? He even seems to be tempting me all day long.

A warden who allows his prisoners the freedom to go out and kill and rape would be terminated for incompetence. But God gets away with everything, right?

1- the thieves were there before him, and they must have been there for some time, i dont think they really were in a very "talkative" mood.
2- jesus cross was much higher than the thieves ones, since tall crosses were used for "important" criminals to show their deaths as an example to others. Minor criminal´s crosses were much shorter so that animals could devour the body of the victims...So with such a difference in height how did they talk, shouting??? did they really feel like shouting just to mock someone who was in their same situation???

on next posts i will explain jesus miracles under the light of logic and science

Seems to be lots of evil goin' on!

Plus, ya know, believe it speaks of God himself sending a lie, that they should not believe the truth. Go ahead, google the scripture if you must!

Then, the fact that satan can appear as an angel of light. With all his experience...., must be nearly impossible to know the difference.

Ever been scammed or lied to by someone? Now imagine that, but taken 1,000,000 times more deceptive. Satan is far more powerful than any human.

How do you know he hasn't sent us all a lie, n we are all just left behind?

I'm sure this will be different for every person, but what moral standards do you obide by, and is there anything holding you to it? Do you just create your own? What is to keep you from making exceptions?
I'm not trying to sound snobby, so sorry if it coming off this way, but I'm being sincere.

The basic line is, if there is nothing holding you to a common set of standards, how do you know what is right and wrong, and why stick to it if there is no point?

It says in the Bible that Jesus did have brothers. Therefore there must be people alive now that are related. Jesus was a very important historical figure. You would think that some one somewhere documented his family and lineage.

My uncle said some pretty hurtful things towards ginger ale last night, supporting the rights of ginger beer.

Does ginger ale have feelings? Is it hurt? What can I do to heal its wounds?

Thanks to all who answer seriously.

Most atheists I've met are highly moral, ethical, law-abiding citizens who embrace education, honesty, knowledge, truth and learning. They seem to possess these qualities innately. They don't start wars, fill up prisons, or try to force their non-belief on people A good majority dedicate their lives to improving society (ie. Bill Gates), magnanimous altruism (Warren Buffett) or improving the human condition (Crick, Einstein, Edison, Arthur C. Clarke, Carl Sagan, etc)

To top it all off, given verifiable proof, atheists would even accept god. The more you look at it, the more the atheist seems like an evolved version of Jesus Christ. So why wouldn't he want to hang with us?

Many Christians claim that man can't judge God's actions as evil because He has a divine plan and is God.

This being the case, then it would stand to reason that one cannot judge whether God is good either.

Wouldn't God be "amoral" instead of Good or Bad?

If Christians believe you should not add to or take away from the bible, then why are there so many different copys of the bible in print. Every church I visit seems to have their own verson of the bible. The scary part is that some of them don't read the same! What is really funny is that I'm Mormon and every one is telling me that Joseph Smith changed the bible. Guess what, there are all kinds of different bibles. ( and by the way, the book of Mormon doesn't add to the bible any more then the Dead Sea Scrolls)
