Not to all Christians, but to a % of Christians:

You make a claim, a claim of an existing God. To check that claim, I decided to read your Bible, which is a bigger effort than needed to begin with.

After reading your Bible, your religion still makes the same claim of the existing God. I found your Bible to be utter nonsense.

I disagree with your claim. However, I listened to your arguments, I thought about them, I even read them again in your book. What bigger sign of respect do you people need?

But reading your book left me with a million questions about it. Not about your God, but about why people can even believe in such nonsense. Remember, you started making the claim. If you hadn't pointed this world to read your Bible, I would never have all these questions.

Who is really mocking who here? Wouldn't it be more respectful to simply answer a question, after making a ( what is to me) ridiculous claim?

Or is it simply that disagreeing equals mockery?

Why would you say that you can trust your source of wisdom?

I know you all have one single thing in common, you love God with all your hearts. Will there ever be in your view a time in the future that you can all agree to disagree and just love each other even though there are huge differences in your understanding who God is and his message to mankind. It seems to me that the difference is:
1. Who God is
2. What he is saying to mankind..the message!

Maybe I'm not seeing everything, maybe I'm not seeing your big picture...but isn't love and acceptence better?

Now I know someone will talk about some crimes commited over here and murders over there from all religions and it's members at sometime and place...but I hope you understand what I'm asking

thanks for any responses

Everytime somebody asks something that questions their beliefs, I've noticed this is a popular retort:

"I didn't come from monkeys, but maybe you did."

So, if you can concede that certain people share an ancestor with the "lesser" primates, then why do you believe you are exempt?

It's happened to me often enough, but if I got your sister pregnant with my monkey-seed, then wouldn't that make you a monkey's uncle?

Something to think about, eh?

It's clear that Theists don't make better people than Atheists (just look at any prison population), so what good does religion actually do in this life?
Charities have grown up around religious institutions, but atheists give to those same organizations out of necessity, so religious aren't any more charitable.
So, other than your complete unsupported belief that you'll get rewarded in some "afterlife", what does religion really do?
Honest question - I really want to hear the good points, as you see them?

I didn't Know my Mind had been Blinded by satan since the Time I was Born on this Earth.
I Couldn't "Believe" in GOD, my Spirit had not Been Recreated yet, and I hadn't Given GOD Permission to Recreate (Save) me. I was Lost and Didn't Even Know it.
Wasn't My Fault.
What are Your Thoughts on this, Thank You!

You have heard "Thou shalt not Judge", and yet Paul in I Corinthians 5 is condemning the church at Corinth for not purging this person from them. What can we learn from this?

Regardless of whether it is intentional or not ... but since we are on the subject, does your god view intentional sins any differently than he views accidental ones?
