Everytime somebody asks something that questions their beliefs, I've noticed this is a popular retort:

"I didn't come from monkeys, but maybe you did."

So, if you can concede that certain people share an ancestor with the "lesser" primates, then why do you believe you are exempt?

It's happened to me often enough, but if I got your sister pregnant with my monkey-seed, then wouldn't that make you a monkey's uncle?

Something to think about, eh?

Evolution is a scientific theory. scientific theories are held to plenty larger tiers. They clarify information, how they extra healthful and paintings jointly. Evolution is an affront to their faith and it is the reason they have not got self assurance it. the subsequent time absolutely everyone asks you for evidence, cite this analyze. "technology and annotation of human chromosomes 2 & 4" Hillier et al. It effective properties absolute and straightforward evidence of our hassle-loose ancestry with the chimpanzees/super apes. in short, chimpanzees have 40 8 chromosomes and human beings of 40 six. interior our genetic makeup is a pair of fused primate chromosomes which bills for the adaptation. the end results of this analyze have been shown and duplicated by employing different scientists from international huge. whether that's the end results of the analyze findings that creationists do no longer delight in. this suggests that Adam and Eve are mythical characters, ie there is not any such situation as sin, absolutely everyone seems to be only high quality. The fairer intercourse has been given blame for some thing that on no account occurred. yet right here is the biggie....Jesus Christ, if he existed, ought to have had a organic and organic father.

You lump all Christians into one viewpoint, and that is not correct.
There are Christians who believe in the literal 6 day creation model as told in Genesis and do not believe the theory of Evolution; they are called Young Earth Creationists.
There are Christians who believe in the creation model but think that a "day" as described in Genesis can mean several thousand years and they are not sure if Evolution is the tool that God used or not. They are called Old Earth Creationists.
And lastly there are Christians who believe that Genesis should be liberally translated and that perhaps God used Evolution as a tool to bring about humanity. This is called Theistic Evolution.

And I for one would never make the statement you gave above, it would be rude to say and incorrect.

You ask a good question, how can creationists believe in evolution. Well, the Biblical account of creation and the origin of sin talks of Adam's failure, requiring a Savior, called the last Adam--Jesus will ultimately rule earth in Adam's vacant throne.
How can you take the fall of man, the original sin, and make the world of death, decay, crime, and murder apply to monkey business. You can't!

Well, while trying to compromise the Bible with science, they pervert the plain testimony of God and call it "thiestic creation." It's like taking scissors to a puzzle to make it complete, but the mess gets worse as you progress. Yes, Theistic evolution is a farce.

Today, many more Christians are taking the Biblical account of creation asa literal fact; there are many scientistic publications that talk of a young earth.

Also, there is a web page that discusses the hidden "key" to unlock the Bible "code" in the only part of the Word that is "sealed until the end of the days." The code reveals, among other things, the exact timing of the controversy between good and evil--not millions of years. You will find it informative in substantiating historical Christianity before Darwinism prevailed in our educational institutions and pulpits.

Blessings, One-Way

*sighs* The "Christians" that say that they "didn't come from monkeys, but maybe you do" are just being smart-alecks about the argument. Creationists don't believe in evolution, they were just giving you a hard time and teasing you in a sense. Don't take it so literally. It is a joke.

P.S. People really shouldn't be so nasty when dealing with each others opinions, try to keep it decent and so will I.

Fear of finding out their beliefs may be misinterpreted or even wrong. People need to feel as if they have everything under control and understood. It really freaks most of them out to find they really know very little. So many souls prefer to be spoon fed their convictions.

The evidence is in every anthropological museum on the planet. I believe the theory of evolution offers further evidence of a phenomenal mastermind.

We are from the Adamite race .not monkeys. There are many types of monkeys and I don`t believe there is any danger that any one of them will evolve into human beings.I believe that God did create The Heavens and the Earth.I also believe it took thousands of years.Things did evolve and some things became extinct as did the first evolved man.Adam was created after Gods image and was made perfect from the beginning, also without sin but that's another question.
