everytime i see a picture of jesus he's always white why is that was the bible written by a bunch of racist why isn't he black its not like hes going to be voilent and say stuff like "he who has no sin bust the first cap up some *****'s @ss" or "thou shalt not blow thy neighbors ***** tent"
also he has a spanish name "jesus" so does his mother "mary"="maria"

Jesus is a Hebrew name and so is Mary.
Those are just the English translation.
As for his appearance it's what the guy above me said.

The names were romanticized - they are not spanish names (originally).

Jesus was a Jew from the middle east...he would have looked like others in that region. But people are more comforatable with their own and so they changed it - that is why I have seen white Jesus and black Jesus and others.
