I'm sorry but your title and qualifying statement are about two different subjects...
No Jesus has no direct descendants
Yes it is possible that there are descendants of Mary and Joseph alive today.
After the birth of Jesus Mary and Joseph had a normal physical relationship (Matthew 1:25) and had other children so unless through time the line ended there must be some descendants of the family of Jesus about, though not descendants of Jesus Himself...

i do not have self assurance that there are any verifiable descendants of Jesus. The Davinci Code replaced into depending upon a idea, yet has no longer be shown by real information of living descendants.

Not one physically.
All Spiritually. The Soul and Spirit are made alive.
1 Corinthians 15:45 - And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Jesus, technically, wasn't related to His brothers. It's possible that the descendents of Joseph and Mary's other kids are here today.

Undoubtedly, He would have nieces and nephews up until the sack of Jerusalem in 70 a.d. At that point, however, the temple was destroyed, and with it all the genealogical records. There is no way to answer this one except to say, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (John 1:12).

Jesus had no descendents as He was never married and never had any children. Also, the "brothers" of Jesus mentioned in the Bible (more properly referred to as "brethren") were not blood relatives. His mother had no other children. This has been the constant teaching of the Christian Church for 2,000 years.

To Royal Racer
Mary never had any other children. She was a virgin and the only kid she ever had was Jesus.

Some believe that Mary Magdalene (the "repentant whore") was the wife of jesus and bore his child daughter, reportedly named sarah, after his crucifixion. they (mother&daughter)are reputed to have settled in France.
I am not saying I know this, but I have heard it lately a lot.

Since Jesus had no children there would be no decendents since decendents would be children of the children of the children etc.
It would probably be possible to trace the decendents of His siblings however. I'm not sure how you would go about it but it would be possible.
