Which does the real God actually want you to have? Good thoughts or good actions, both?, none? Does it matter?

If God is supposed to be perfect how could God have made anything or anyone that wasn't perfect.
Think about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely.

First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and figure out a way to get all of the students home safely.

How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work 100 percent of the time?

It also assumes that God must have created us imperfect if we are sinners.

One might assume that God would be able to create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.

Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect.

If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours.

Why did the major U. S. churches quietly rush to hire these guys last year? Is it a government mandate? Why don't they tell us what they are looking for, and who is being given the private information about us? Are we being tracked and profiled...using our own tithes and offerings? Didn't Hitler try this stuff, 2 years before the death camps? Mitt Romney's office refuses to answer this question. Is there a NWO/Mormon link?

Those religions believe that by sacrificing a human the rest would be saved. In addition ancient roman and Greek religions also believed in a trinity and God being born via a virgin birth.
Please correct me if i'm wrong but aren't they all the same.
Only monothestic religions like Judiasm and Islam follow the same God

I'm sorry if my last question was offensive in any way to anybody who read it. BUT the question still stands, I didn't get any satisfactory answers, in fact most of them ignored the question completely.

Jehovahs Witnesses believe that there are 144,000 people going to heaven. They believe that of those 144,000, there are about 6,000 left alive today and that these remaining annointed people are the very last ones that will get into heaven. Ever since 1935, when the Great Crowd was created, all Jehovahs Witnesses have had an earthly belief instead of a heavenly one.

All I want to know is where FROM THE BIBLE did they get this date from? I don't want to hear how arrogant or biased I am. I don't want to be offered a Bible Study. I don't want to be told that one day I will understand. Please will someone just answer the question??? Because if that date didn't come from the Bible, where did it come from?

If you sin, then all you have to do is ask for forgiveness, and your slate is cleared once more. I personally DONT want salvation. I did my crime now I need to do my time. I do not rely on Some Jesus lawyer to get me out of trouble. So really, who is the MOST morally defunct?

Does that mean merely being unsure of scripture or does that mean flat out insults to Jesus?

If I have to believe that a man rose up from the dead and believe it wholeheartedly, then I'm in big trouble. All I can do is not disprove it and I "kind of" think it might be true. However, I would never insult Christ intentionally (Though I might have used the name in vain when I stubbed my toe). Regardless of what I believe I can't deny that he is the supreme being in terms of moral conduct and did, in fact, die for our sins, even if I don't think there was anything "magical" about it. I'm not really a fanatic ya know?

If Jesus Christ came to Earth as a poor person , a person of color, or a person with a disability how long do you think he would keep up the pretense before he lost his temper and let his true identity be known? Do you think he would he throw the "leaders" out of office like he threw the money lenders out of the Temple? WWJD

Or perhaps you can pray in schools ... if churches become places where everybody sits in a big circle at an equal height and debates the various ideas and interpretations of religion.

Q from The Next Generation is a mischievous being who is part of the Q Continuum. He seems to be omnipotent. He has interest in humans, likes to be dramatic, but he can be quite dangerous at times. Overall, he has the humans' best interests at heart.

Does he compare to the bible's account of God. Could the Q continuum be the "other gods" that you could put before the biblical god?
