Christianity is not technology, you're thinking Scientology -

'The Prime Directive dictates that there be no interference with the natural development of any primitive society, chiefly meaning that no primitive culture can be given or exposed to any information regarding advanced technology or the existence of extraplanetary civilizations.'

You could obey this Directive of Starfleet, but the Omega Directive is a little bit tougher.

You'd think the answer would be no, given that the Christian scriptures instruct Christians to spread the gospel, but in actuality there are a lot of Christians who find it easy to accept that others do not believe as they do. There are many who regret that so many of their Christian brethren have interfered with the cultures of primitive peoples around the planet.

Prime directives can be tricky. V'ger thought that the prime directive meant to "sterilize" every life form it came into contact with. V'ger was in error.
The actual prime directive for all life on Earth is to survive.

I would tell them of God, but I would not force them in any way. To convert someone requires the person or life form to make the decision themselves. We can not force anyone to join christianity, but I know you have concerns over the Church's past, but NO! this was not right! to convert people with any force at all. I know your point here, but this is not the true purpose of Missionaries.

For a Christian the Bible is the" Prime Directive".
Enough said. That is it plain and simple.

Its funny because the Christian Bible tells them they shouldn't judge. Yet they go out and judge that others must be wrong...

So, if they took the Bible as fact, they could follow the Prime Directive. If, as they do now, they pick and choose their verses...that's a different story.

Not neccessarily, Christians are supposed to talk about the goodness of God not force it upon others. I like the reference to Star Trek though... and great question..

Where do you think the idea of the Borg came from? I mean, we're not talking Swedish tennis players here...

I don't

People can belive what they want,
i know it pisses me off when atheists try and "convert " me,
so why would I do it to them.

Do unto other's right?

That's not just christian values, it's good morals
