Does that mean merely being unsure of scripture or does that mean flat out insults to Jesus?

If I have to believe that a man rose up from the dead and believe it wholeheartedly, then I'm in big trouble. All I can do is not disprove it and I "kind of" think it might be true. However, I would never insult Christ intentionally (Though I might have used the name in vain when I stubbed my toe). Regardless of what I believe I can't deny that he is the supreme being in terms of moral conduct and did, in fact, die for our sins, even if I don't think there was anything "magical" about it. I'm not really a fanatic ya know?

Jesus is either all he said he is... or a total liar.

Jesus said very blatently that he is God's son, and has come to earth to save it.

He said he would die and rise again in threee days, Then he did.

Jesus cannot be just a prophet, because that would mean he lied about being God's son, and Prophets are not supposed to lie.

He also cannot be "a good man and a teacher" because you cannot call a man that claims he is God, and heals people, and teaches that he is the only way to heaven a "good person" unless he actually is what he claims to be..

That's why it's either all or nothing, no respected historian denies that Jesus lived. and died.

the debate is over him being raised, and he was.

It certainly doesn't mean one is flat out insulting Jesus. I find it very odd that anyone would say such a thing insults Jesus... especially when the person who is not accepting him is being honest about it.

For me personally, I don't accept the stories in the Bible as absolute Truth. For one, there's really nothing unique about the stories that would lead me to believe something truly miraculous had occurred (not when the Pagan world before that time had the same stories). It just looks like some people respect the man as a teacher and later, embellishing began to make the stories more appealing for a broader audience. I don't doubt Jesus lived, but I don't put my faith in mankind to deliver an ancient story to me intact, without the embellishments. And I certainly don't think an innocent man dying saved me from my "sins". Obviously people still sin, they still die *wages of sin is death*. Nowhere does Jesus himself claim belief in his death and resurrection... or even belief in him is what is needed to be "saved". Actually there are a couple of verses where Jesus himself said "Even if you don't believe me... believe in the one who sent me..." This doesn't sound like a person telling others that in order to be saved, they have to have full faith in the speaker.

When people say Not accepting Christ it usually means they are rejecting the Gospel of Christ. They are rejecting his existence and Christianity. They have not accepted to let Christ reign over every aspect of their life. Believing that he rose from the dead is a hard thing for many with some of them being believers, but it's all about faith. It's not about magic it's about faith. Because we are mere sinful humans, we cannot grasp the holiness of Christ completely.

sure. Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord and God. God in human flesh that walked between adult men around 2000 years in the past. The struggle to believe in Christ as God is the ultimate challenge for all of us. By what you say you are thinking about the history of Christ rationally based on the plethora of historical facts. To move to the next level is to just take a faith step to choose to believe He is who He said He was/is. Let Jesus turn your heart to Him...let Him do all the work...just let it happen....it will. If in the end you never got further than accepting that He is a mystical figure and His values of living life were done by you, then you will still be alot closer to heaven than most.

I totally did not understand a single thing you wrote.

But, its normal for humans to have doubts about what the bible says, however, all you have to do is believe, and give it a chance. If you don't believe by reading the scriptures, then believe by letting him manifest himself in your life now. Its hard to believe in something we have not seen but we must have Faith, and by faith we shall see.

If you accept Christ in your heart, its to let him work with you, maybe not believing immesiately that he rose from the dead, but if you believe that Jesus is still alive in the heavens and allow him to come into your life and let him work his wonders with you, you will believe.

It was hard for me to believe at first, however i grew up knowing there was a God and that Jesus was and is still his living son. When I accepted Christ, I did not only accept that he rose from the dead, that goes without saying, when you infact believe he is the Living God now. Accept him in your heart and ask him to give you faith, and to open your eyes so that you see with spiritual eyes and not in the flesh.

God Bless

To accept Christ, you must follow all of his Commandments.
The 10 Commandments given to Moses are not Jesus Christ's Commandments. Jesus gave us 75 Commandments in the New Testament. (4 Gospels)

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ, John 1:17
All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers,John 10:7
"these are the Words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that ALL THINGS MUST BE FULFILLED, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, CONCERNING ME. Luke 24:44

The WORDS I speak unto you, they are spirit they are life. John 5:63

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me. John 14:21

Built his house on a rock or on sand, read these verses.

Everything you just said reveals that you haven't accepted Christ. My biggest suggestion to you is to to to a Bible Church and ask for a tract. That will give you the information you need. I would also talk to one of the elders of the church, they should be able to answer any questions you have.

If you are having a car worked on. do you stay there for all that time, drive the car into the garage and then hold on to your keys, making sure that they don't let someone steal it?

Most people just hand their car keys over and walk away. That's trust (faith). You are trusting the garage to fix your car and not have the car stolen.

It's like that with God. You have to trust Him.
