Which does the real God actually want you to have? Good thoughts or good actions, both?, none? Does it matter?

The real God could care less because she knows that we can learn just as effectively from positive actions as we can from negative.

Love and blessings Don

I would have to say good thoughts and good actions is what god wants you to have. A pritty hard thing to do. I think I have good actions but maybe bad thoughts at times. I think this is a great question to be asking, the answers are not always to the point because people tend not to know what they are doing and why

A little of both if I were to take public opinion into accounting for my goings on, subjectively though there are no good or bad thoughts and actions from my individual perspective. So then, it doesn't matter, nothing really does that much right now, at least to me.

There is nothing that is inherently good or bad, right or wrong. Those things are made up in the minds of men. They are physical terms used to create an experience of good or bad. It means nothing to the spirit. Therefore nothing is bad unless you think it is and it comes from Ono's perspective. What is good for one may be bad for another. Unfortunately the terms are often used to instill guilt into a person or make them feel one way or the other. Remember it's all about choice. Do you want to experience something as good or bad? See it for what it is--they are just words. When you hear those words try and relate to them from a perspective of perfection that sees them for what they are.
The spoken word is the second step in the process of manifesting feelings which are also physical. Thought, word, and deed are the three steps to creation.

Unfortunately, what really matters is what your actions are, intentions may mitigate in some cases but doing the wrong thing for the right reason is still wrong.

I'd worry about what the "real God" wanted, if there was one, however that is not the case.

Both, in a general sense. To me, this seems to be a very gray area and leans more on the individuals perception of "good" and "bad".

As for what the "real God" wants me to have? I couldn't say. Unlike many within Mainstream Religions, I don't get an audible voice or even miraculous signs of healing, tongues, etc. (For which I am thankful... seems people love to abuse things like this and I sure as hell don't wanna be lumped in with them.) I live life as well as I can, taking in as much experience as possible, without getting myself killed in the process.

I'm the opposite: Thoughts bad, actions good.

For me it's "thoughts mostly good, actions mostly good". According to God, many bad actions ARE good.

I try to make my thoughts and actions good- nobody's perfect but I try. And why would you ask people who don't believe in god what he would want?

... huh?

Well... I'm Wiccan. My gods are neither good nor evil. Our only laws are "Harm None" and "whatever you do comes back to you" (or karma).

It doesn't really matter to anyone but you. If you hurt other people, they'll hurt you, and it will be a vicious never ending cycle. So you reap what you sew.
