My religion is Hinduism. The best thing about my religion is that it offers more than one approach to the Divine, so that people of all different natures can find God in the way best suited to them.

Buddhism is an awesome religion, and I think the best thing about it is its emphasis on compassion. And a lot of Buddhists really practice this, instead of just preaching it.

Equality, humanity, justice and peace.

Some are either fooled or fooling others by calling Hinduism a religion. Hinduism is not a religion. It is a culture, custom, tradition and way of Hindus' lives in Hindustan (India). No Hindu scholar, philosopher, saint, priest, book, script etc. ever called Hinduism a religion. All claimed it a culture, tradition, custom, rite, ritual, etc. and none called it a religion. The Bharatiya Janata Party, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Durga Vahini, Shiva Sena, etc. insisted that Hinduism is a culture, custom, tradition etc. and not a religion. The Central Government, Supreme Court and High Courts and Governments of all Indian states never called Hinduism as a religion. Hinduism has 4 categories of people and other than these 4 are untouchables. There are thousands of castes in each Varna category, each believing different Gods and Goddesses with separate rituals. Hinduism is vast, wide and tolerant. All laws of Central/State Governments and Supreme/High Courts define a Hindu as the one who is not a Jew, Christian, Muslim or Parsi. No prerequisite or condition to be and remain a Hindu. None can convert to Hinduism. A Hindu can embrace a religion eg. Christianity or Islam etc. and can still remain a Hindu by nativity. The word Hindu is never used in any Hindu ancient sacred book or script. This is a Persian word given to residents beyond Sindhu river. A Hindu is recognised by his caste. The castes are quite unchangeable. All Central/State Governments and Supreme/High Courts confirmed it time and again that castes exist in Hindus and are absolutely unchangeable.

Influenced by western thoughts and the teachings of religions, some over clever Hindus are claiming that Hinduism is also a religion. Are they fooled or fooling others? The light of knowledge is spreading and none can be kept in dark any more.

We follow the true Bible teachings and not man's doctrines and traditions. Jesus Christ is the head of the congregation and Jehovah God, is the head of Jesus. All baptized Witnesses are fully ordained ministers and are qualified to teach others what the Bible really teaches....

Matthew 28:19 & 20: "Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU. And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”

Matthew 24:9-14: "“Then people will deliver YOU up to tribulation and will kill YOU, and YOU will be objects of hatred by all the nations on account of my name. 10 Then, also, many will be stumbled and will betray one another and will hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will arise and mislead many; 12 and because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off. 13 But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved. 14 And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come."

As for other religions, only someone in those religions can answer that. I would be assuming something that I don't know for a fact without having experienced them myself. I am sure I would be biased.

My religion is Christianity, the best thing is that it is much deeper than it seems from the first look at it. I have to admit that I search all other religions as well, because I believe that there is an underlining unity of truth to all of them. This time I will pick Buddhism for its great introspection and vision of freedom.

The best thing about Hinduism is that it does not say that it is the only true religion, it does not say that if you do not worship hindu gods, you will burn in hell. Talk about humility, it is the only religion which actually practises it.

It is also such a rich religion (the oldest extant religion inthe world), it encompasses EVERY philosophy of life -- spiritual, physical and mental. Its difficult to say what I admire in other religions, because hinduism itself gives me everything, there is nothing missing in it, everything I admire is covered in hinduism.

my religion is hindu.
u know,....we as humans have the capacity to tell what is good or bad or ok ...we can class things...
i can class my religion, it is very good!
why?....i am NOT being prejudiced,mate......i have some very good reasons for believing in my religion
for i can give u not 1 but a hundred reasons which are out of the scope of this answer

but sure i can formulate the main points:
for once, it is very open.....
we live and let live
if another person has some different beliefs:we are absolutely fine about that!

for next,we are not some paranoids and always reasoning things out in science that belong to religion...
we know that science is to be understood and believed in,
religion is to be followed

our religion is although philosophic, yet it fllows practical aspects of life

our scriptures do not preach things for the sake of them being there, but fot the sake of the practical paths of life that we have to follow

we follow what we want to and not what we dont want to...no priest standing on our head to dictate !

we do not make a fuss about sins and going to hell......
if we do something wrong: we just forget about it and try to resurrect it or change from now onwards....no crap about satan having got into us or something!

okay...enough for mine...now other religion....
its about christianity: ...they allow eating non-veg stuff even at there holy days....

we CAN eat ...its not forbidden,...but its not considered too good either! (im a non-veg lover)

I am an Animist. I speak only for myself. There are so many choices for me. But I will use, for this example, respect. As I have shown, I practice respect for others who are also Animist, by stating this is Only My opinion. That way, Only I am answerable for what I say.
Again, there are so many Religions. Again, for this example, I will choose one. I admire, in Asatru, what I have seen; the acknowledgement of the warrior in Man. Fierce, yet protective. A Fighter, but not a mindless destroyer. A nurturer. They prize loyalty, and honour, highly. In my opinion, a people worthy of respect.

The best thing about my religion i.e. Christianity is Forgiveness of Sins-by God to all human beings and amongst the people.
And the best thing about one other religion i.e. Buddhism is Ahimsa-Non-violence.

All religions have great aspect, every religion does have their fanatics, and wicca is no exception to that.

Now why are christians using this question as a chance to bash other religions?

I like how catholocism and christianity is family oriented. I like the sevices on sudays in the cathilic church.
And I like the spiritual essance every human being carries..

I'm a Jehovah's Witness, and I think the best thing about my religion is that it is based soley on Bible teachings and following in the footsteps of Jesus. And also the doing of God's will.

The best thing about other religions (any relgion) is that they all believe their religion is the true one.

Having faith in any religion is the best thing about it. Zeal is a great characteristic!
