Why do Evangelicals and some other right wing churches hate planet earth so much? They act like they can’t wait for planet to be blown up into hell fire and brimstone. They are completely obsessed with Armageddon and hell. Instead of trying to promote good in the world and prevent it from happening, they run around selling books revving people up. It seems like they are trying to go to the Middle East pissing people off in Palestine and other countries to promote the anger for a nuclear build up. Is it all about the money, or do they actually want every last member of the human species to burn in an everlasting hell fire? Has this been going on for a thousand years, or did it start in the last century or so?

and every woman she looks the same as any other woman
And I do believe some religions expect every human being
to look and be the same person this would be strange

Many westerners are naive, simple minded and weak. Its easier to pretend like this is all hysteria and that their neat little worlds will never change. Almost all war today is Islamic and yet the same cliches perpetutate, like "oh its not the religion, its.."

If Psalms 83:18 means we should always call God by the name Jehovah, than Matthew 1:23 means that we should always call Jesus by the name Immanuel.

Why do you not call Jesus by the name Immanuel?

Like evidence of a creator, or higher power? Many call Phi (1.618033988749895...) "God's number" aka the Golden ratio, because of it's appearance in so many things in us and the world around us (Plants, human body, heartbeat, DNA, music, stock market, solar system, etc). I can't quite wrap my head around all this and I would appreciate any insight you may have in this matter. What are the odds of all of this and what do you think it all means? Why does Phi keep showing up everywhere?

Why don't I believe in him?

Something with such a grand scope and infinite power, really ought to be self evident. Afterall, this world is miraculous and wonderous, and apparently the greatest proof of all for his existence.

So, why don't we see it? Why are there so many people who follow other religions than the "true" religion, or follow none at all?

No where in the bible does it say that anyone in the five fold ministry should not get married. They even had strong couples that teached in the Bible (Aquila and Priscilla). Why is the Catholic church so different from every other body of Christ in this matter. To me this eisegesis. What do you think?

My whole family are all around 5'1 - 5'5 max, going back generations and generations. We are irish, my grandpapa used to say that we come from leprechauns, but bred with the general population we have slowely been getting taller.

I am now 6'10 and still growing, my family call me a giant, and historically in our family I am. If back in Ireland everyone was leprechauns I would be a giant to them.

So in the bible they say that giants walked around, but how tall were these giants?

Would I be concidered a giant back then?

Whatabout today?

When a person is raped do they need empathy or discipline?
I found the rape kit thing cold and sterile and the hospital really not comforting at all. Yet I felt safer there than at home.

Why is that ? Anyone ever felt that ?

Or just simply be a member of the church that Christ Himself built (Matthew 16:18). A church that has no creed, the only doctrine that is used in the church is the Holy Bible [strictly go by it, and do what it says], and where Christ Himself is the head of that church (Ephesians 5:23) not some man (pope, president, etc.). It is hard to please God, our Heavenly Father, when belonging to a denomination. Every denomination has been built by man, and is based on division of those that believe that Jesus is the Christ (Matthew 12:25). There is no salvation in any denomination, no church that has built by man can offer salvation, but Christ is the Saviour of His church, to which He adds the saved. We are commanded to have no divisions among us (I Corinthians 1:10). You cannot be a lukewarm (liberal) for Christ (Revelation 3:16).

The old Church of Jesus Christ started with a prophet, John the Babtist. The New Church of Jesus Christ started with a prophet, Joseph Smith. The old church of Jesus Christ required laying on of hands to confer a blessing or the priesthood. The new Church of Jesus Christ requires the laying on of hands for a blessing or to confer the priesthood. The old Church of Jesus Christ required normal men to become not educated but faithful and obediant. The new Church of Jesus Christ requires no formal training in school to become a priest but instead a hunger and willingness to follow the lord. The old Church of Jesus Christ required it's members take care of one another not just go to church. The new Church of Jesus Christ requires that all members visit a selected number of members and home teach them each month. (They keep track of it on paper!)
Old Church taught our bodies are the temple of God. New Church, no tea, liquir, tobacco, illegal drugs, coffee.(called the word of wisdom)

Just about any word of violence will get you hundreds of hits. If youve read the Quran before you know what Im talking about. Its loaded with violence.

Muslims explain "well it was written during wartime when Muhammad was defending himself alllll over the place...he defended himself into Medina and then Mecca and the whole of Arabia!"

Well, putting Muhammad's new defintion of "defending" aside, we still are left with the question of why Allah would think it wise to fill most of his book with violence? I mean, whatever Muhammad's violenent idea of religion was, certainly Allah was not subject to Muhammad was he?

I mean, Allah never had to mention anything about war and Muhammad's beheading of 800 jewish prisoners, he could have simply used his book to impart wisdom and law as opposed to war narratives.
