Not just violence, but also incest. Psalms even says that God praises men for slicing open pregnant women and for dashing babies heads against rocks in revenge for what their fathers did. Lot slept with both of his daughters and got both of them pregnant. One woman wished her lover were her brother so they could have sex without problems. Racism is also rampant in it. Good job brother!! For more information that will give you even more help, go to www.answering-christianity.com You will find LOADS of information that will help you on this jihad.

Violence? In the bible? Well, it's pretty messy in the beginning. It's tapers off only slightly until the big crash. Revelations. Big blood bath finish. But it doesn't end there! There's a sequel. The new christians get all riled up and bash the brains out of anybody that couldn't see things their way. Huge blood bath stuff. Lord of the Rings style. It's one of the "Love" religions.

Does a history book have too much violence in it, or just the right amount?

The Quran and the Bible both relate historical events. It would make no more sense to purge them of violence than to purge our history books or historical novels of violence.

Do you mean "If you were God, how much violence would you have put in your book?" or do you mean "Did the perfect God write into His perfect book the right amount of violence?"

Either way, as Goldilocks put it, "It's just right."
