To me, I don;t think everyone has to believe the same way I do, but here is my take...
If there was absolute proof, then there would not be a true chance for people to make choices. Much like when a kid always has their parent RIGHT THERE, they will only do what they are supposed to, and eventually go nuts.. We are not wired to be that way...
OK, I'm off the soapbox now.
Atheists are cool with me, as long as they are not pimping their beliefs like Evangelists do..

Take a good look in the mirror. Do you know that if even one part of you - one cell out of place - was wrong you would have been naturally aborted, miscarried? The human body alone is such a delicate balance that it is mind-boggling that some demand it happened by chance.
Look outside. Look a the complex varieties of life, all interwoven into each other - all depending on each other for survival. None are independent of another. Yet some claim it was all by chance.
There are so many religions out there because people are desperately seeking God. And instead of seeking within their own soul for the mark and presence of God - they seek outside. To man made traditions and practices and teachings. And when these teachings fail, people turn to other religions. Or create a new one.

Hi Alex,
Why do you come to this R&S arena when you don't believe in God in the first place?
You give reverance to God by using a capital G in God. I like that about you.
Then to top it off, you mention the true religion. This puzzles me.
There is a lot more going on in that head of yours that you are not telling us about. I think you do believe but won't allow yourself to admit it.
I guess I'm fortunate. I been a Christian all my life and I pushing 60 now. I ee God in everything and everyone everyday.
Do you read and study rightly deviding the Word to glean out the hidden manna that is contained therein? If you would only do this I know you would begin to see HIM if only its just a blur.
When you realilize that there was so much more to you then what you have right now when you were in the First Earth/Heaven Age, all of your questions would already have answers.
I do hope for your sake that you find out the Truth before it is too late.><>

If you are with a scientist and be at the Grand Canyon. The mountains of rock are craved nicely as if somebody may have craved them. The scientists say no, these rocks and mountains are nicely shaped by evolution, wind & rains.
Then as you and the scientist walk down the trail, you found a small brick house, and as you and the scientist walk into the house you found nothing but a glass aquarium with live fishes in it which powered by battery for the bubles/oxygen. You ask the scientist. Is this house and this aquarium the work of evolution, rain and winds that give shape on these things?
Although sceptical about the house, he then say "Yes, the brick house could be shaped by the wind and rains." So, how about the aquarium?
The scientists quickly answers, "By looking at this aquarium, it is so complex, with perfect square shape of the glass container, the complexity of the battery cells which linked to the complex device that runs the buble for oxygen for supporting the life of the fishes? These are too complex, and of course, not the wind, rain or any environmental evolution. It must be the work of humans with great intelligent."
Complex things in this world are made by humans. he insisted.
Similar to the aquarium, how about the complexity of brains, heat in our body, nerves, heart, and the entire system that work so well? (needless to say the world & the universe system)
Now..., if it is not the work one greatest intelligent up there, then is it the big bang or just the wind and rains? can you figure out for me, dear.

Grasshopper do not put these things above you. God is real and he loves you. If I do not believe in you that does not change that you are real, nor does it take away from your achievements in life. The same is such with God. He is beyond us, but if you allow him he will enter you, and His Spirit will make these things known to you. My wish for you is to attend a Full Bible church. This and other things will be made clear to you.

Because you have chosen to be willingly ignorant... you don't like the idea of being held accountable to a holy and just GOD for the way you have lived your life. But never the less when you die, and you will die, you and everyone else who has rejected JESUS CHRIST will be permanent fixtures in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone; where there are untold horrors, evils and torments awaiting all those who denied GOD to their grave... Have a nice day.

People that follow religion are sheep.
I'm not disputing the existance of a higher being since I don't have any evidence of it's existance.
I also believe that this higher being is NOT involved with any part of this world.

I don't like the idea that a god doesn't make himself/herself apparent to us at all times. Why hide? It shouldn't take much effort to prove he/she is real. By playing this game, he/she creates doubt, and that's what's lead to the problems mankind has had. If God doesn't exist, then nothing can change.

If we're talking about the Biblical god:
For some reason, he insists that if we don't believe in him and obey "him" (really, obey religious leaders) then we will go to hell.
Then he creates some people whose minds just aren't capable of believing in b.s.
I think the Biblical god likes to play "gotcha!"
