Hypothetically. I know the UN too weak and pathetic but suppose for a moment that they had the primordial stuff to do so, would you support it?

Almost all war in the world is Islamic. A massive chunk of the entire Islamic world literally believes in the textual call to "fight everyone who doesnt believe in Allah". Quran 9:29. http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/009.qmt.html

Furthermore, Muslims are to "fight with them until...religion is only for Allah", or in other words, the religious genocide against non-muslims must continue until there are no more non-muslims left. Quran 8:39. http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/008.qmt.htmlhttp://cwis.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/008.qmt.html

Many westerners are naive, simple minded and weak. Its easier to pretend like this is all hysteria and that their neat little worlds will never change. Almost all war today is Islamic and yet the same cliches perpetutate, like "oh its not the religion, its.."

We are f***d.

You want a corrupt organization like the UN to do something about a corrupt book? I wish we could get rid of both but we can't. God will though.

May God Bless you.

Did you not read the 9:29 in context. Why do you non-muslims quote the glorious quran out of context. Quran is word of ALLAH and it is without any error. Dear friend the Quran speaks of retaliation not aggression. And i think that is fair enough to give this right to the people (muslims) to retaliate.. I think some one quoted me a verse from bible that if someone slaps you on one cheek offer him the other... But is this implemented now a days.. If your are a good followers of bible than why dont you follow it 100%. You will not because you have ammended the religion as you want it to be...
Muslims have not changed a single command of ALLAH which is mentioned in Quran. So whatever is in Quran must be followed.
You take it genocide verse or think it as retaliation....

If THAT was allowed, then any and all literature deemed inappopriate will have to go through such censorship... Imagine if someone decided that Harry Potter is Demonic because it allows "magic" where some holy texts clearly forbid, and changes all magical references to "....casting a website virus with his Internet Power Logitech Wand!" or the classics like Romeo and Juliet are considered immoral for glamorising suicide and the final scene is changed into them having a picnic in Central Park... how lame is that? lol

No more freedom of expression, No more freedom of speech and No more freedom of the press.

Moreover, all it will do is blind everyone who is non-muslim or non-extreme to the truth found within, and traditionalists and extremists will ALWAYS find a way to take it underground... Just like how in Communist USSR, the bible/religion was practiced underground... more dangerous coz then they will be behind a rose colored veil laced with barbs

That would be akin to asking Christians to take all the references to genocide out of the Bible. And for those of you who say there aren't any, go read the Old Testament again. NOT all war today is Islamic. Go read a history book. Better yet, read one about only the wars which occurred during the last century, then tell us how many were Islamic.

No I would definitely not support it (although my voice and most everyone else's wouldn't matter). That's censorship and it's unfair at that. Christians would stage an uprising if they tried to delete all the bad stuff from the Bible. Shoot, the Bible would lose half it's volume - the entire Old Testament. A book doesn't make people violent, people choose to be violent or not. And Christians damn others to an eternity in a pit of fire. Does that sound violent to you, because it sure sounds so to me?

I don't think the religion of Islam is a nation, let alone part of the UN.

Let people believe what they want.

Not just "no," but "hell no."
Go peddle your communist values somewhere else. Over here we believe that freedom of speech, religion, assembly and the written word are God-given. I would never, never support any legislation that contradicts the Bill of Rights.

Tell a religion to change their holy books, and you piss off the WHOLE religion, not just the hotheads...
Not a wise thing to do.
