Yes, I am referring to Jehovah, the heavenly Father, the creator of all things. The law, as we call it today, is based on the character of God and cannot be followed by man. So my Question is, does the law ( the 10 commandments) apply to us today, and if so what hope is there for man? Because obviously God is real and everything that has been prophicied has come to pass, and is being played out in yours and my lifetime.

From my religious or my religions standpoint the law of moses still applies but there is something called a new and everlasting covenant that adds addition precepts too. You can read about it at www.lds.com this will inform you. Go right to the website and dont listen to others comments that are negative. Draw out your own conclusion. People who say negative things are carring the spirit of contention. The spirit of contention is not of God. Good Luck and God bless!

1. The Commandment of God the Father, who art in heaven,
(if you confess to be a follower or disciple of Jesus Christ), apply to you. Jehovah, our Father who art in heaven, hallow be his name, and Allah are one and the same God
2. God, the father, is the God of Moses and the God of he 10 Commandments he is also known as Lucifer, the dragon, the serpent, God, Lord God, Lord, prince, the liar, the deceiver and I am that I am
3. The serpent in the wilderness, and the serpent in the garden of Eden are one and the same. Sinai as in the Wilderness of Sinai and the God of Mount Sinai, means "of Sin"
4. As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness. John 3:14
5. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ John 1:17
6. Moses gave you not that bread from heaven, but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven John 6:32
7. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers John 10:7
8. O fool and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken; Luke 24:25
9. Think not I come to destroy the law or the prophets,
10. Not one jot, or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
(Notice Jesus makes no references of not destroying the 10 Commandments)
11. Whosoever, therefore shall break ONE OF THESE LEAST COMMANDMENTS, and shall teach men so, he shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven
12. BUT I SAY ONTO YOU.
Which of these paragraphs do you not agree with.
If there are any I challenge you to prove me wrong, using only the Words spoken by the Living Word of God, Jesus Christ.
Let us debate .

The answer to this question could vary depending on who is practicing which belief. I believe in divine constant knowledge of God. Hence, all human knowledges are circumstantial i.e. change with more discoveries. If some1 who says he/she is a believer for a certain religious doctrine n they happen to lack flexibility n are fanatic then they will say ," no God's laws donot apply today". But if u look at one situation from different angles n try to figure out why a certain act was committed or how fair n just n how much a certain rule is appropriate for the matter then u will say God's rules are applicable. Its ur method n thread of logical thinking that gets u to d end result otherwise the whole issue is very relative & controversial.

To the Jews and God-fearers, yes.
To Christians, only to a certain extent. The ten commandments are good. The verses about homosexuality, adultery, witchcraft/the occult, and several others are good. The rest - well, they don't have to follow that.
How can Christians only use certain parts - while claiming that Jesus abolished the law? Wouldn't that mean that the parts they do use is in violation of what Jesus did?

That's a very open question, which could have many answers. All I know is that in the bible God commands us to obey the laws of the land. So, if that's the case then I guess God's law does apply today.

discover me a individual who obeys each regulation of GOD then I teach you a righteous guy. The Bible says in James 2:10 "For whoever keeps the whole regulation and yet stumbles at only one element is to blame of breaking all of it." It is going directly to declare that "for all have sinned and fall in need of the honour of God" Romans 3:23 that's impossible to maintain the whole regulation. k1
