Why do Christians always assume that any God other than YHWH is actually Satan in disguise? Even YHWH says that there are other gods. In Exodus: "Thou shalt not have any other Gods before me." This indicates that there ARE other gods that aren't Satan. YHWH never said anything about other gods being the Devil or His agents, and if He did, then He contradicted Himself. Also, Christianity is the only religion (other than Theistic Satanism) that even BELIEVES in Satan. I fail to understand how we can worship Satan if we don't even believe in Him.

I read something in the paper today and there was a highschool girl who was being interviewed and was asked what her plans after highschool were. She responded that she was going to be an actress, journalist or some other sort of writer but 'god' told her to join the Marines instead and 'god' explained she would be doing better things in the Marines and blah blah blah.

Do you usually associate behavior like that with some sort of mental instability?

Has anyone heard of "jose luis de jesus miranda" or the "growing in grace" society?? its been all over the news. This is a man who was a former deroin addict and has served numerous jail terms. He also claimed he was the apostle Paul for numerous years, then he came forward with the claim that he was Jesus Christ, God in human form. He has millions of followers believing in this unbelievable lie. The followers stage violent protests where they smash statues and burn pictures of the "inferior" Jesus, Jesus of Nazareth, and they destroy bibles from other beliefs. The guy wears nothing but armani suits, rolexes, and expensive jewlery, his demented daughter is the "accountant" of the cult, and he lives in a mult million dollar house in miami where he smokes cigarettes and drinks whiskey. He also has a "666" tattoo, the mark of the beast, and his followers get the same tatoo on themselves. Correct me if Im wrong, but doesnt this sound like the antichrist, the false prophet in the book of revelations? He claims that the bible is outdated and erroneous, yet he uses verses from the very same bible he critisizes as proof of him being "God". I mean, his wife holds her purse open while the mindless stuff "donations" into it. He claims the bible is wrong, but he justifies this action by saying "the bible says to tith". he molds the bible into fitting his evil agenda and his mindless followers do it. The guy is a proven drug addict, convicy, pedophile and a con man, why do people bow to this guy?? if they use the bible to justify this man, why dont they read the part where it speaks of the antichrist and the false prophet, cuase what this demon is doing matches up EXACTLY to how the bible describes him!!!!! Why do some christians say "My Fellow Believers"?
Dont they realise that they aren't the only people that beleive in something? if they want chirstians only then they should say that instead of "Believers."

Because everyone "Believes" in something, weather it's the Pagan Gods, the Gods of Abraham, or even Evolution.

Do Non-CHristians automatically dismiss all near death expereinces. I myself, as a Christian used to, however I have done a little more research and talked with some people recently and beleive there is some validity to some of the people's near death experiences.

In fact most Medical proffesionals are usually baffled by such experiences and out of body experiences.

A Witness that answered my last question said ...

"the questioner "worships" Jesus, JWs "worship" Jesus (in a manner acceptable to God the Father), and thus the questioner believes Jehovah's Witnesses aren't Christian."

Could someone please enlighten me as to how Jesus is worshipped so that I can come to the conclusion that Jesus is worshipped and making you Christians?

My life is a total mess right now.
I have been going to the church I go to with my family for almost eight years now, and I am really attached to it. My three best friends go there as well. I love my youth leaders, they are awesome! The problem is one of my best friend's family is considering leaving the church. My family is too. But I really can't imagine life without my three best friends and my youth leaders! I am closer to my youth leaders than my own parents, and I talk to them about everything! If my family leaves the church, I will hardly see my bffs anymore, maybe once a month.
Another problem of mine is my boyfriend. We have a long distance relationship and see each other about twice a month. I haven't seen him or heard from him in two weeks now! I don't know what to do! I have tried emailing him but he never responds. I also have been getting into fights w/ my parents a lot lately. And my grandpa had a stroke and has pain in his leg. I feel like God hates me!(cont. below)

would you defend them, or would you leave them and betray them to be apart of the popular group? would you be afraid to stand up for someone who's "different" than everyone else? would you care if they wear the head covering? how would you act if someone made fun of and pushed your best friend/ friend about their head covering? and who they are?
