The grandpa's not a monkey argument is an over-simplification done to make the argument more easily understood by children. If you look at the places where it is made, it is almost exclusively when the audience are children. It is easy to get children to admit "My grandpa isn't a monkey" whereas it is much more difficult to get them to readily deny scientific principles, with which they are not acquainted.
Either that or they just have difficulty with the concept of time, which does seem to follow, as most creationists will admit to microevolution, but deny macroevolution (microevolution + time).

Why are YOU telling anybody we "came from monkeys"? We evolved from apes. Actually, we ARE a type of ape. There's a big difference there... and frankly, most Atheists need to learn just as much about evolution as Christians do.

You're not. My Grandparents were not evolved from monkeys.
The clay business (primordial ooze if you will) is for the flesh and blood body, not the soul of Grandma and Grandpa.
Why do evolutionists not see the difference?

you don't seem to realize that there are different levels of people who call themselves christians. it is safer to claim to be a christian in the u.s. most mouth it and really don't believe it. they just do what is socially required. can you imagine some president announcing they were not going to attend any more services and there will be no more news opts for attending services for us all to see? truckdrivers and plumbers can say it all sucks and they are gonna waatch the packers and drink beer instead of going to church likethey used to. that tradition is dying fast. only the wild eyed jumping evangelicals are showing any increase. that party is about over too. so i suggest that most christians know nearly nothing about evolution, relationships genetically to other animals and such. they can't help it. they were poor and had to work all the time and are ignorant. love them anyway.

us Christians believe that human were made by gad in the same form as now. (not evolved from apes). so saying that we came from monkeys insults us because it is basically calling our grandparents monkeys.

Christians know that God made us in his image and that was Adam, a man, and Eve, a woman. We did not evolve from monkeys.

They don't. However, if that's what you really think of YOUR grandparents, then I suppose your question is appropriate of a douchebag who believes in a "theory" that has never been proven, and is laughable at best. But,- you know, Darwin may have had a point: in the next few generations someone in your gene pool may actually produce offspring that make sense. as is , your gene pool is obviously still swirling in deep sh*t
