Why do Christians always assume that any God other than YHWH is actually Satan in disguise? Even YHWH says that there are other gods. In Exodus: "Thou shalt not have any other Gods before me." This indicates that there ARE other gods that aren't Satan. YHWH never said anything about other gods being the Devil or His agents, and if He did, then He contradicted Himself. Also, Christianity is the only religion (other than Theistic Satanism) that even BELIEVES in Satan. I fail to understand how we can worship Satan if we don't even believe in Him.

There is only ONE G-D

Therefore there cannot be more than one. The other so called gods are not gods but have been given the attributes that attain to G-d alone. They have been assimilated to G-d and have being created or worshipped instead of the one true G-d. This by no means makes them G-ds.

A god can be anything that you elevate on the same level as or above G-d. That could be something as simple as school, work, family, anything that might take priority in your life or it can be a literal idol, religious system or belief, a cultic, mystical practice. If it becomes your object of worship, it is your god if you like.

What G-d was saying was He does not want to be in competition with anything in your life, because He IS first and foremost.

As for the satan part well there is only one force of evil and that is the demonic forces. Therefore anything that seeks to denegrate and to denounce the Supremity and Sovereingty of G-d is evil or demonic. It attains to the work of satan that has rebelled against the authority of G-d and along with him (satan and his fallen angels/demons) he wants to take man to hell with him for eternal damnation.

The fact that demons present themselves in many forms and through different rituals, cultic practices, black/white magic, different types of religions doesn't change the fact that demons are behind all this and satan being the leader he bears the responsibility and name.

As far as worshipping satan is concerned anyone who lives in sin has as father satan; so you don't have to worship satan directly and consciously. Why you would want to worship the father of lies and the biggest deceiver as his name implies, makes no sense. Yet that is what he does best he blinds people and deceives them.

G-d on the other hand gives you freedom of choice and let's you choose between right and wrong, good and bad. G-d is light in Him there is no darkness. G-d is Almighty, All powerful, All knowing, All present Praise His Holy Name forever Hallelujah Amen.

It's the Blood of Jesus Christ and the Power of His resurrection that gives you a second chance if you want it. Only G-d gives you an option

One, I am not Christian but I do not believe that the verse in Exodus proves there are other Gods. It has more to do with creating man made idols and placing them before God. They can either be an idea or something in the physical.

Two, Christians believe that all others are decieved by Satan. They would say that just because you don't believe he exists doesn't mean he's not real. Most don't think you are woshipping Satan - only that you are falling under his lies.

Three, why does it bother you? I had to get over this a long time ago - otherwise I would be carrying to much anger. Being judged and condemned.

Allow them to have their beliefs. Telling them it's not right is not going to change anything. They are told not to trust anything by a non-followers. Allow them to believe what they will. They are not assuming - merely following what they have been taught, by their church, their pastor and the bible.

Sorry I must have missed something. I have never heard the God's of others described as being Satan. As far as a belief in Satan is concerned, you are incorrect in your statement about no other religions believing in him. Just about all other religions that believe in a God believe in an evil spirit as well that is the anti-God. They may not call it satan but it is the same thing.

As to not having any other God's before me, it is clear that you have no understanding whatsoever of the character of God. He was not acknowledging that there actually are other "living Gods" He was speaking for the benefit of those that were making craven images of things that they would then worship. (Idols)

There is only one God who created the Universe, sustains it and transforms it as per his own scientific principles which we are always trying to understand bit by bit and as we get to know more, the more infinite becomes our area of ignorance about His priciples.
But different people have their own concept or form of God. All are equally relevant.
If God has created all things in the Universe, he has also created Satan or things that we do not like.

The scripture you quotes does say not to worship any other gods. This refers to anything we put first instead of God. For example, ourselves, our car, other possessions. Anything that is more important to us than God. It can include the gods of the ancient greeks and romans. These gods however are not aliveand were not alive. I agree that they are not satan himself, because he does exist. Anything that is evil is of the devil, that I believe.

It was during the middle ages that all gods previous to the Abrahamic God were officially deemed evil and/or Satan's minions. Therefore if you worship any other God, you're worshipping a minion of Satan, thus worshipping Satan. That's how they reason it anyway.

No, it doesn't. God tells us not to have other gods before Him -- precisely because they don't exist.

Elsewhere the Bible says that God is alone, and Him alone we shall serve.

This clearly indicates that there are no other gods -- if there were, God would not mind us worshipping them. In fact, He would probably encourage it.

The god of Moses is Satan.

A good tree can not bring forth bad fruit, and a bad tree can not bring forth good fruit.

The wicked one is the father of the tares.
Lucifer, the dragon, serpent, I am that I am,
Mountain of Sin
Desert of Sin/Wilderness of Sin
As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness
For the laws were given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
O fools and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken

I like how in the old times, every time god turned around they would be off worshiping someone else.

This is why the 'though shalt not have any gods before me' is in there.

This one time, Moses went up on the mountain (to get the commandments) and they went off and made a golden calf and started worshiping that. Well, that pissed god right off.
