Seems like a existence so sublime that it cannot even be described awaits you.

Yet you have to wake up every day, drag your butt to work, deal with headache after headache that life gives ya.

Sure, life is fun some times, even wonderful for some periods, but it cannot POSSIBLY compare to 24/7 paradise.

With this in mind, of what awaits you, how awful must your daily life be to wake up and think, gee i hope i die today.

Are you making any assumptions (faith) which compel you to decide that an untimely self-initiated departure or ending is secondary to the alternative that you to encounter an uncertain "natural" ending? In laywoman's terms: You don't commit suicide, therefore you assume or you know that your life is better than the negative of your life (dead). What exactly is wrong with non-existence?

Every since his sister's sudden deaths in a car accident 7 weeks ago, he has been experiencing some odd things. He and his wife have both seen a flash of light, similiar to a small flashlight, that is there one instant and then gone the next. Then he smelled an umfamiliar perfume in the room. It only lasted a few minutes, both he and his wife smelled it, and then it was gone. He later identified the scent as "Navy", a scent his older sister used to wear. There is also a doll in his daughter's room, that was a gift from the older sister, that will start singing without anyone pushing the buttons to make her sing. Can anyone realistically and logically, explain what may be happening at his home?

Beyond any spiritual reasoning to talk a person into it, I am wondering about the benefits of a 24 hour period with no eating with the body as a temple. No stimulants too. Is the stomach sick of always working and wants to dry out sometimes? I guess I have the ancients to thank for coming up with this.

I believe this is what is called Niroda Sanya in Pali. When you become an Arahath, your mind recognizes signal of Neither Perception nor Non-Perception that would stop the creation of Karma by eliminating Asrava. As long as you have Asrava, you cannot terminate the formation of Karma from Vinnyana. Hence, you broke the circle of life.

Buddha explains our life by taking an example from a seed.

Vinnyana is the seed, karma is the soil, and desire is water. When you eliminate the desire to your six senses made by Vinnyana (mind, body, tongue, eyes, nose, ears), you stopped adding water to the seed to grow. Just like an oil lamp, it will not glow once the oil and the wick is burnt off.

Thus, you attain the state of Nirvana because the seed will not grow again without water.

Any comments or suggestions? Please don’t give any rude answers if you don’t know what I am talking.

humans are animals with more intelegence than most species right
marriage is just propaganda made up from the bible so the economy rises
anyways lets go to the human gender male(female
male-the male is designed to fertilize the female
female-designed to keep the species going
now when a female looks at a male of her attraction she wants to have him but she already has a male partner now what does this prove that women are equal like men
sorry i got of topic i'm a little tired from wrestling my friends
anyways men can't control the urge to mate with other females if you married women don't give it to your man and if your the type of woman that doen't understand the male well and you think that men are pigs then don't get one cause your gonna be in an emotional entanglement when you catch him in bed with another woman

I just did a quick search of Q's and A's and found that on average, Christians are quite quick to criticize Wikipedia and give thumbs down to those who show it support. Could this be proof that collective knowledge is to Christianity what kryptonite is to Superman?

We are cursed with logic.

Perhaps it will keep us outta heaven?

Perhaps we are just here to test the faithful?

Granted i doubt it, but i admit to the possibility.

One of the prophecies is that was to happen that they will be hated most. and out of Christians Muslims and so on Christians are the most criticized most hated. and most talked about,

another prophecy is that the suburbs in jersulearm or however you spell it would be rebuilt in 1948 the reconstruction began so a book that is over a thousands of years predicted that..

Many more prophecies have been fulfilled in our time. I'm a believer, My life has been shitty and stressful things have happened in my life to point me to God, the bible also says to not waste time with a atheist in trying to prove to them, because athiests have said in their heart their is no God, in my oppinion if you look at everything the universe and everything the only thing that makes sense is a God, the bible also says nomatter what you say a athiest willnot believe, no matter the proof it also says that if they request of God to test him he will give them nothing.but im not gonna hate on athiests, I got my own
