We are cursed with logic.

Perhaps it will keep us outta heaven?

Perhaps we are just here to test the faithful?

Granted i doubt it, but i admit to the possibility.

Am i 100% atheist? No.... as atheists are ALMOST like theists at time.

I dont think you can know if a god exist. I REALLY REALLY doubt there is one, but i think its possible.

And a VERY TINY part of me notes that as i cant disprove christianity, that it might too be right. And thus this question arises.

Although when asked i always claim atheist. Its just a ton more fun lol.

To believers: Ever think maybe God wants US and not Atheists? Ever think there really is an order to the Universe? Ever think how hard it is to create something and how easy it is to destroy what has been built? Ever think about the two greatest human emotions: Love and Hate and how a third emotion "the Fear of God" can enter the picture...and I mean the true meaning of that word "fear" because in a Biblical sense the word means respect?

You're pretty much a textbook example of an agnostic, then. The only reason I can't disprove god is because theists wont let me. God is their creation, they can just change the rules whenever they'd like, so it can't be done. I don't feel like I should even be forced to accept the possibility because of that.

Why could desire to we could desire to "tutor" something to you? If we could desire to tutor to you God would not exist, then you certainly could desire to have the skill to tutor to us he does, devoid of utilising the Bible or issues that place self belief in blind "faith". you assert which you have faith God exists, nice. i've got faith he would not exist. We the two have the perfect to that perception. fact is, neither human beings totally knows despite if or no longer God exists or no longer, no rely what we deeply experience interior to be real. do you recognize all people who survived death and got here decrease back to enable you recognize what Heaven replaced into like? i do no longer recognize all people who survived death and got here decrease back to assert; "Yup. that's what the afterlife's like." NDEs do no longer count extensive form. the guy comes on the brink of death, in spite of the indisputable fact that it is not a real, medical death. i'm conversing somebody who replaced into governed clinically lifeless and wakened interior the morgue or funeral abode form lifeless. it rather is noted as death for a reason, honey. it rather is totally final. sport over. era. no person comes decrease back from it. Ever. So except you recognize somebody the rest human beings do no longer who has actual survived medical death previous in basic terms some seconds or minutes, you do no longer recognize the actuality to any extent further than I do. you may declare God exists and that i'm able to declare he would not, yet we neither one have a merely incorrect or right answer. we are the two merely making a wager and coming up with distinctive solutions for the comparable prevalent question.

You really don't sound like you know what you believe. You should spend some time evaluating your beliefs and values. And perhaps choose a different path.
(I am not a religious person, and I don't mean to sound like I am trying to convert you to religion. You just seem confused.)

Or maybe some theists won't get your sarcasm and they'll have more reason to say that we really do believe in God but we're just denying it for emotional reasons.

I think the problem is toxic religious residual, kind of like being worried that after you plunged the clogged toilet with your bare hand and washed it thoroughly, there might just be something left.

One must deal with probabilities, not possibilities. It is possible that if you go out of doors, you will be hit on the head by a meteorite, but that does not keep you inside.

I am just here to test the faithful. So far they are passing with flying colors. I hope I have put enough iron in my irony.

No, you can not possibly "think" that. To do so would mean that you are really not an atheist but a sinner. It would be like a "fatal attraction".
