No, there is no where in the bible where it states explicitly that such voyages are bad. In fact, Saint Paul talked of the third heaven, so he must have been a spiritual traveler of some sort. By inference, Christians should be encouraged to do the same.

The downside of such encouragement however is that the church would not be able to lord it over such travelers who have seen truth first hand. This explains why your pastor would call your dream evil if you do not take his interpretation of it.

Astrology is false and sort of like a fortune teller. I think that; it is wrong and mis-leading to regular humans looking for directions to God.

Believing in a different dimension and all of the fantasic things in outerspace is cool. I preach on those things.

When we think about the Earth being small and the Sun being huge, then we have to know about Antares the star that is 1000 light years away. It is the largest star in the galaxy that we know of in the 21st century. Our Sun next to Antares is 1 pixel compared to multi-millions of pixels representing Antares. So on Antares, if you could live there, you could not see the Earth ever! The sun may/ would not be visible.

So God's Universe is bigger than we think. Outer space is more than the mind can handle in the 21st century and maybe 10,000 years from now, the minds of the star gazers may not understand it either.

Why is God, God? Because he is God; unbelieveable, loving just and forgiving and beyond all imagination for our tiny minds. Understanding the universe is only understood by the Creator and I believe we will never understand infinity. Blessings on you for looking to the sky for an understanding of the Might Lord of All.

Ps. Stick to Earth and all God wants you to do for others. PPS.Meditate on God and His heavenly creation and see where it brings you!

Actually, three of these people are mentioned in one of the main myths in the bible. The birth of christ. The Magi, or three wise men, travelled to Bethlehem because of an observed celestial event. Magi comes from the greek, Magoi, or magicians. Now, while they weren't considered magicians, the term loosely means someone who studies and practices "hidden wisdom". Hence the term "Three Wise Men". Through most accounts, they were not kings, though you will hear people refer to them as that as well.

On a side note, there is nowhere in the accounts that there were three of them. Three has become the common number due to the gifts brought. There have been accounts that said two, four, five, and up to eight Magi travelled from the east to see the source of the astrological event.

Not that I know of. There is many things that aren't in the Bible, many things in heaven and on earth that's not in the Bible, it don't mean it's wrong.
Astral projection, and travel happens more than people think. Some people think there having a dream, and their not, they are out of their body.
It can be bad if this happens to you... There was this priest, that traveled a lot, one day he was out of his body to long, they buried him thinking he was dead. They dug him back up to find out that he was alive, due to his hand in his mouth, biting down, perhaps to see if he was alive. But not for very long. Now that's scary.

Astral travel is not bad; everyone does while they sleep they're just not aware of it. It's actually quite fun.

No, the universe is part of God's creation and should be awed at. God gave us brains to think and explore, which we should do, giving Him the glory. It does say there are too many stars to count yet He knows them all.

No. The concept had not been thought of at the time. I don't think much of it now.
