This should be included in my 360's examination of church and state issues.

While you suggest something absurd like spamming, it is a topic that deals with certain substances, and eating habits, etc.

I read about police walking into a "church" where there was a man and a woman at the "altar" having an intimate relationship and the man asked the police to "please leave".

Why was their religion legitimate? And since the address was published in Playboy you can only imagine its now a church with 800 guys and 14 women.

Anyhow,

To give my answer, government in America should exist to protect the rights of legitimate religion. How do we determine the criteria for a legitimate religion?

I don't know. Has this been asked on yahoo answers?

As Minister of Religious Tolerance, I would have to look in the Book of Religiosity and determine if we were in violation of our TOS.. however, I would have to say that anyone who believes in Spam..
a) has no taste
b) is a World War II veteran and therefore negates the above
c) fits in perfectly with R&S regulars
