What is your idea of a perfect god? Cuz the one we have doesn't really seem to fit into anyone's ideal....

I feel sorry for the Christians. They are waiting eagerly for Jesus to come back, but I don't think he will anytime soon...

Should I dress up as Jesus just to prevent them from being disappointed? :)

Any make-up ideas? Should I die my blond hair darker? Grow a wizardly mustache/ beard?

...started offering a class on the Koran? it's a literature class, and they're not promoting the Islamic religion, but they're also not offering classes teaching any other religion's holy book either.

What would you think? Is this right? Why?

Now how is this any different from a public school doing the exact same thing with the Bible? Think very hard.

A perfect human being would not fall to demonic pressure- not even from Satan's own tempting. Even with free will, he/she would stand strong and obey his/her God. And yet, they did eat the fruit from the garden, which show that they have weaknesses and therefore that they are not perfect.

Now, my question is this: why would a perfect god create IMPERFECT HUMAN BEINGS? If he is omnipotent, he would know that that alone would bring much destruction and chaos...

I'm refering to the story of Noah and the Ark, of course.

Anyway, I think that he would be much more admired if he actually talked with the people. I'm sure there were at least a couple of decent people that would listen to him...

Must you be a member of a particular church in order to have a funeral service? This large family has members that attend church but not a specific one. Could arrangements be made to hold service for someone that does not attend that church? Do ministers, pastors, etc., refuse you for not being a full-pledged member? Could a baptist be memorialized in a lutheran church? Funeral chapels are no problem except limitations on amount of people. THANK YOU FOR YOUR RESPONSE(s)

My infant daughter is getting baptized soon. I've had people ask if we were going to have a party. Is there supposed to be a party afterwards? If so big or small? I'm really all new at this mom stuff!

Excuse my French, but uh...

1.) I think that people are obsessed with the number 6-6-6 because it's easy to remember or teens think it sounds cool or something.

2.) I think it is used in movies and the media just to increase income.

Anyway, researchers have found that the infamous 6-6-6 may actually be 6-1-6.

Fragment from Book of Revelation mentions 616 in the third line – chi, iota, sigma (courtesy Egypt Exploration Society)

In the King James Version of the Bible, the well-known verse of Revelation 13:18 reads:

"Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."

While many Bible have footnotes saying the number translated from the original Greek could be 616, experts say new photographic evidence of an ancient fragment of papyrus from Revelation indeed indicates the number is indeed 616, instead of 666.

"A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." - Antoine de Saint-Exupry

Humans and other animals have vestigial organs. If we were really designed, the design was flawed.

Why would an "Intelligent Designer" use a flawed design?
