Christ was tempted in all ways as we are. Christ was able to overcome the temptation of Mary and he knew her heart. He did not look at women as objects for lustful pleasures...his mission on Earth was too great for that. Many women hung out with Jesus because he was safe to be with. He was interested in the love we come to know as agape and not eros. So, in answer to your question, they were not an item.

--No!--Why would you even consider refuse like "The DaVinci Code" if you are at all Biblically oriented, or even otherwise.

--Has not hollywood perverted enough presentations of Jesus & God or do you like the perversions that they embelish?

--Do you never find it outstanding that a man such as Jesus was indeed different as the Son of God, Note one historians view of him:

*** gt The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived *

A HISTORICAL PERSON
Yet, strangely, some say that Jesus never lived—that he is, in effect, a creation of some first-century men. Answering such skeptics, the respected historian Will Durant argued: “That a few simple men should in one generation have invented so powerful and appealing a personality, so lofty an ethic and so inspiring a vision of human brotherhood, would be a miracle far more incredible than any recorded in the Gospels.”

--HAVE YOU READ the dialogue between Mary and Jesus at John 20, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY no intimacy even sightly suggested! When in fact he said to her when she put her hand on him affectionately:

(John 20:16-18) “16 Jesus said to her: “Mary!” Upon turning around, she said to him, in Hebrew: “Rab·bo´ni!” (which means “Teacher!”) 17 Jesus said to her: “Stop clinging to me. For I have not yet ascended to the Father. But be on your way to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and YOUR Father and to my God and YOUR God.’” 18 Mary Mag´da·lene came and brought the news to the disciples: “I have seen the Lord!” and that he said these things to her.”

--What do you want to believe the perversion or the truth of what indeed he was like, as the Bible clearly shows?

I concur with Jalapinomex. It is true that Jesus was tempted in all ways such as we are but He maintained His integrity. He did not fail as Adam had. Paul in scripture gave advice that if a person could not maintain then it is better to marry than to sin. "The marriage bed is undefiled", and Jesus was not defiled. Weddings were a big deal in those days and there is no mention of a marriage for Jesus. Mmm

Absolutely not. If that were the case, it would have been in Holy Matrimony. Jesus did not have time or desires for marriage. His sole purpose was to serve God, His Father and to save mankind from their sins. It's cruel to try to smut Jesus name. There is and never has been or never will be another that can do what He did for the people of this earth. It's shameful that He is ridiculed and detested for His righteousness.

Don't really need any more controversy I'm already decided .
We don't know much of the young rabbi named Jesus but the fables and hearsay recounted by a few unreliable sources .
if one studies even a little religious history and step back to see the big picture it all becomes only too apparent to those with open unbiased eyes . this ossuary was found ten to twenty years ago just waiting for exploitation so I dont totally believe it as presented in good faith either even if it were true I would not have any proof .it really doesn't matter ...had they buried the body in secret ossuary or burned it no one ascends into heaven except in your dreams.

Edited i'm in settlement with ritukiran16. there is not any truth, indication nor implication interior the in reality valid source of historic evidence that the Jesus Christ of Nazareth defined contained in the Judeo/ Christian Bible married Mary Magdeline. That hypothesis it truly is in line with properly -recognized fiction and presented as truth isn't medical; it truly is in reality more suitable of the stupid reasonings devised to take advantage the gullible.

God's word is truth. 2 Tim 3:16-17.
If it's not in the scriptures it's pure speculation. Man keeps coming out with these outrages claims.

Mary loved her Jesus. Not with the carnal love of man but with the love toward her redeemer.

No, there are those that speculate trying to discredit him. This is what the plot line of the Da Vinci Code discusses and it is pure fiction.
