1.) I think that people are obsessed with the number 6-6-6 because it's easy to remember or teens think it sounds cool or something.
2.) I think it is used in movies and the media just to increase income.
Anyway, researchers have found that the infamous 6-6-6 may actually be 6-1-6.

While many Bible have footnotes saying the number translated from the original Greek could be 616, experts say new photographic evidence of an ancient fragment of papyrus from Revelation indeed indicates the number is indeed 616, instead of 666.

Hey don't be so quick to shove old 666 in the burrow and forget it. Even I think it's a fun number. The one number that can put the fear of God into Christians and you want to just discard it as if it was nothing? The Mark of the Beast.

Whether it's 616 or 666, it means the same thing. I can't wait to find out who the anti-Christ will be. I am so ready and it is so near. So some of you think prophesy is crap. I don't want to be in your shoes.

Nah. I think it is a bunch of crap as well. I mean seriously, it's just a freaking number and people go crazy over it! "omg! It's 666!" Get over it people, it's a number and it's nothing special. That's like being afraid of your social security number for Christ's sake, it means nothing.

I think it's BS. It's a NUMBER. I can't figure out for the life of me why people think a NUMBER has some sort of otherworldy significance. If there was a God or a devil, why would he CARE about a number? Ooooooo...sixhundred-sixty-six ...ooooooo..I'm shaking now

As 7 in the Bible means perfection.
Different numbers mean different things.

People tend to believe what they want to believe. I agree the media industry gets their money this way, but if people would not be so superstitious maybe they would see it is just a number.
