why did god give me the mentally not to be able to beleive in him. I could never beleive in such a thing, am i doomed? What cruel god would do this to somebody? I am bound to burn in hell because trust me my brain thinks really thinks there is no way possible he exists and I am %100 positive my brain will not change until I die. SO please help me with this good answer, dont try and say i will see...... best answer 10 points and maybe save a soul...

would he take the money back. assuming the circle k wasnt in beverly hills and jesus didnt realize what had happened till he got to his 94 hyndai hatchback, would he utilize the outside door handle, get out of the car and return the money, or would he put on his burgerking hat and go to work?

Don't get all angry here, but if your religion says that if you do not follow jesus christ you will go to hell. Then what do you expect from people who don't follow your beliefs to think about you?
You are telling them that you will go to hell and they don't even believe in hell. Even if you are not personally pushing your religion on people, your religion does it all by itself by what it teaches.

Some religions are totally dedicated to the supression of normal human desire. Almost all religions demonize desire, except Tantra, which goes the opposite way (maybe I need to investigate that one).

Look at what is produced by these religions. Supressed desire ends up translating into a endless universe of hatred. Ignorant people covered in diaper-like full body attire screaming rage and blowing themselves up.

Tonight i was out with friends, and 1 friend in particular who i have known for years turned against me because i told him i was atheist. Why ? I did get a text on my mobile phone later but he does not seeem the same/ I cannot help the way i am. He was my best man at my wedding in 2 weeks time. Now i do not know what to do. I thought he would understand. and i cannot changr, and do not wish to do so either. He says he beleives in an afterlife.

It seems to be that there is a lot of Israel bashing on Y/A. The only people to defend Israel it seems are the Jews. I was just wandering why does the world believe that the Israelis are responsible for the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and now Israel is reaching its hand into Iran and that Israel owns America.

If sex is strictly for re-creation (not to be confused with recreation) then why make it feel so good. Especially when it leads to rape, disease, adultery, homosexuality*, all of which I assume God doesn't like, and all of which could be avoided easily if sex were only to make babies.

If I can figure this out why can't God?

in the vastness of the universe where anything is possbile.......isnt there a possibility where a guy wholived 2,000 years ago died on a cross for humans sins (its humancentric and pretty selfish, really, but could it be?) could god have made a woman from one rib and create the whole world? i know many dont believe.......but in the hugeness of space and time, can we rule it out completely?this is a mind bender. im getting a headache. your thoughts?

If Jesus said 'love your enemies, by doing this you will heap burning coals into their lap' then shouldn't we try to love even Osama Bin Laden?
This doesn't seem a big deal, since he forgave those who killed him, i.e. those who killed God himself in the flesh - the worse thing imaginable
According to Jesus this would sap all his power and he would in fact be the loser since his hate filled message would be nullified by our love
Doesn't this make the war on terror anti-Christian since it is the opposite of loving your enemy?
and If this is so then was Jesus right or wrong considering the situation today where hating the enemy only seems to make them stronger?
