Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. addressed this question. He stated:
". . . You declare, my friend, that you do not hate the Jews, you are merely 'anti-Zionist.' And I say, let the truth ring forth from the high mountain tops, let it echo through the valleys of God's green earth: When people criticize Zionism, they mean Jews--this is God's own truth.
"Antisemitism, the hatred of the Jewish people, has been and remains a blot on the soul of mankind. In this we are in full agreement. So know also this: anti-Zionist is inherently anti-Semitism, and ever will be so.
"Why is this? You know that Zionism is nothing less than the dream and ideal of the Jewish people returning to live in their own land. The Jewish people, the Scriptures tell us, once enjoyed a flourishing Commonwealth in the Holy Land. From this they were expelled by the Roman tyrant, the same Romans who cruelly murdered Our Lord. Driven from their homeland, their nation in ashes, forced to wander the globe, the Jewish people time and again suffered the lash of whichever tyrant happened to rule over them.
"The ***** people, my friend, know what it is to suffer the torment of tyranny under rulers not of our choosing. Our brothers in Africa have begged, pleaded, requested--DEMANDED the recognition and realization of our inborn right to live in peace under our own sovereignty in our own country.
"How easy it should be, for anyone who holds dear this inalienable right of all mankind, to understand and support the right of the Jewish People to live in their ancient Land of Israel. All men of good will exult in the fulfillment of God's promise, that his People should return in joy to rebuild their plundered land.
"This is Zionism, nothing more, nothing less.
"And what is anti-Zionist? It is the denial to the Jewish people of a fundamental right that we justly claim for the people of Africa and freely accord all other nations of the Globe. It is discrimination against Jews, my friend, because they are Jews. In short, it is antisemitism."

Some people don't seem to know how many Israelis are NOT Jews.
Between 15 and 20 percent of Israeli citizens are Arabs, which I will assume is an exclusively Muslim group. The total population of Israel is 7.1 million, so the Muslims would number between 1.07 and 1.42 million. Most Israeli Jews are secular, not religious. The Arabs even have a representative in the Israeli government.

The myth of the Jewish cabal behind everything has been going on for a very long time.
Those in charge find it quite useful because people jump on the anti-Semitic bandwagon instead of looking at what's really going on. The neo-conservative movement loves to front and center a few Jews. Who then take most of the criticism, legitimate and otherwise. That's why we get blamed for Afghanistan etc.
Ariel Sharon never said that Israel owns America. That is just silly.
Please remember that it's a truism in the Arab world that Israel has no right to exist. Scholarly Arab works on the middle east assume it as a given. Anything Israel does is bad, anything that harms it is good. Including refusing to assimilate the Palestinian refugees -- the Arab League bears the blame for that crisis.

I do not believe Israel is the root of all evil, and I would not say as a country they have always been 100% innocent either (what country has been?).
Anyway, I support their nation because they're a democracy.

I'm a non-Jew and I support Israel. I do think there is fault on both sides in the Israeli/ Palestinian conflict but that Israel and the Jews are more "sinned against than sinning."

By and large the evangelical community supports them. And not the stereotyped evangelicals who are supposedly ignorant hicks who live in the bible belt, I mean our community worldwide. For example:
CWNews reports on a two-day summit named Asia II, which was held in Seoul, South Korea, with almost 500 pastors from Korean churches in attendance, as well as Jewish political leaders from Jerusalem. The gathering was the second meeting held to foster better communication between the two faiths.
Two of the goals of the Korean Christian members of the National Assembly were to gain a greater understanding of what Israel is going through with the pullout in Gaza and the West Bank and to better understand a joint resolution, which would be declared.
By the end of the conference, the Koreans were in full support of the resolution that commits them to take a stronger stance in backing the Jewish state, as well as, promoting trade, tourism and also spiritual ties to Israel.
More summits are being planned in Asia for next year, and they may also be extended to South Africa and Europe.

I am not Jewish and have no Jewish ancestors but I do not blame Israel for the problems in the middle-east. On the contrary, I blame extremists in the middle-east who seem bent on destroying Israel. I totally do not understand what the Muslims have against the Israelis to make them hate them so. Especially since the Muslims claim to believe that Israel's most beloved prophet, Moses, truly was a prophet of God.

extremely not. I even have many acquaintances, coworkers, and associates right here which at the instant are not Jewish. each and every physique right here contributes to society regardless of faith and that i'm proud to assert that Israel is a democracy that promotes freedom of religion. and you may substitute your question to "Do Israeli JEWS (im assuming which you're pertaining to Jews by using the "non-Jew" you put in your question) have self assurance that non-Jews could be removed from Israel?" simply by fact 20% of our inhabitants isn't JEWISH. so as simply by fact of this there are Israeli Jews, Israeli Christians, Israeli Muslims, Israeli Druze, etc. you're assuming that each and all and sundry Israelis are Jewish, which isn't authentic.

I have nothing but sympathy for Israel given their ordeals during WW2 and admiration given their rich history. Hopefully they will always have a good dependable friend in the United States and I am proud to support them. (the only working democracy in the middle east)

I'm not Jewish, but I don't believe Israel is evil. I do think Israel has made some bad decisions sometimes, but everybody has.
