Every answer so far is hostile to Pastor Hinn. In defense of Benny I just have to say that the few times I've seen his act on the religion channel I truly admired his showmanship. And funny? When he waves his arms around and the people on stage fall back into the waiting arms of the "catchers", well it's about the funniest thing I've ever seen. Rolling on the floor funny.
So you can say what you like about Pastor Benny Hinn being a fraud and a snake but for pure entertainment I'll take his act over any sitcom on the air. Yes, it's sad that he rips off desperate people but that's showbiz.

It looks like the juice is out on the guy, and anything I could say would be an echo of what's posted above. I hear people giving clear Biblical evidence based on Benny Hinn's words and deeds that out him as someone not to be listened to, and in his defense there is nothing but "don't touch God's anointed," and "he is a mighty man of God." I'm amazed at how blindly he is followed in light of the blatant disregard of and opposition to the Bible he evidences. And this by the same people who decry liberalism in every other aspect of life. He's left most of the Bible and teachings of Jesus behind, but somehow they KNOW he is a man of God. Read the Bible. Benny's doctrine is not in it.

I really don't know what he is, but I do remember reading in the Bible and coming across this one Scripture that says that God will judge those who are over his sheep (I'm paraphrasing and not too good) and those who touch God's ministers whether it be by negative words or actions will have to answer to God. Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide you in all truth of ANY minister you come into contact and study the Word for yourself. The Bible says that if anyone, even an angel, tells you something that goes against the Word of God, you are to REJECT it!!! Period. Check what Pastor Hinn is saying and doing against the Bible and if it doesn't line up with the Bible, ditch him.

I know people personally who have been healed miraculously by God either through hearing Benny Hinn on TV or went to a Benny Hinn miracle service.
Benny Hinn is a true man of God, and specially gifted with the Gift of Faith and Faith Healing. It is the God who does the healing. Benny Hinn is a believer in Gods Redeeming Grace through faith in Christ & His shed blood for the remission of our sins and Christ resurrection.
If you would like to hear some of the testimonies, write me.
I love Benny Hinn and know in my spirit many have come to Gods Saving Grace and many have been miraculously healed because Benny obeys the Lord.
But Benny is Benny, and he is who he is. He can't help it if he sounds & looks fake sometimes. But, God is the healer who has also gifted Benny for this ministry.
Jesus is at all his services. God the Holy Spirit heals people. And when people say that these healings are of the devil, then that is close to blasphemy of the Holy Ghost. Jesus said that there is no forgiveness of blasphemy of the Holy Ghost in this age nor in the age to Come. And the LORD God of Benny Hinn is also my God, Father, Word & Holy Spirit, and God gives me confirmation in my spirit that Benny is a man of God and also if I pray with others in faith, about it, I get confirmation and so does everyone else in the group.
I just think it is awful how people write about true men of God. And sadly, there will be conscequences. Just repent please.
Johnd is a total liar & one should never criticize the anointed of the Lord. Obviously he can't write one thing to support his accusations.
It is written to test the spirits to see if they are from God. So, too many people have been saved or healed by God at a Benny Hinn service. Benny does preach the blood, the power of the Holy Ghost, the Lamb of God, and has written wonderful books on these. Also, I just purchased a book on the OT messianic verses. That is totally Christian.

I thought you might say that sometimes he sounds and looks so good (because he puts on a nice outfit and a show), because to me he always looks and sounds fake.
Benny Hinn is a complex subject because it is sometimes hard to pin him down on certain things. We know for a fact that he is a false teacher, because he often gets it wrong, all you have to do is open a bible and check it out for yourself.
We know that he is a false prophet, because he makes prophecies, supposably from God, and then they do not happen. God says that such a person is in very deep trouble and is in no wise connected to Him.
Ezekiel 14:8-10 And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the middle of my people; and you shall know that I am the LORD. And if the prophet be deceived when he has spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand on him, and will destroy him from the middle of my people Israel.
And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeks to him; That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, said the Lord GOD.
Keep in mind when you read those verses that God is not going to deceive a true prophet; it will NEVER happen, that is how we can tell if they are a true prophet of God or not. Another way is when they do not teach the Word of God.
Listen to these verses, in which miracles occure, but they are still false prophets!
Deut 13:1-3 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and gives you a sign or a wonder, And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spoke to you, saying, Let us go after other gods, which you have not known, and let us serve them; You shall not listen to the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proves you, to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
This is one reason why we are not to seek after signs, but rather, after the Lord God and after truth.
Deut 13:5 And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he has spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust you out of the way which the LORD your God commanded you to walk in. So shall you put the evil away from the middle of you.
Well that is how the Lord God feels about Benny Hinn, unless he has truly repented and we all somehow missed it.
Eze 18:23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? said the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?
Personally, I try to feel the same way about him that God does.

Look at 1 Timothy 6, which talks about those "who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain." Jesus said, "Lay not up for yourselves treasures on earth," but Benny said, "I don't need gold in Heaven! I got to have it NOW!" So who is Benny following? And as for the signs and wonders, don't forget Matthew 24:24: "For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible." That's what I think. Jesus also said that if someone says, "He is in the desert, or He is in the inner chambers, do not believe them, because I'm going to come like lightning that can be seen from the east to the west..." Benny says Jesus is going to appear at one of his crusades. There's tons more, but I don't like making epic answers.

I have heard quite a lot of people have been healed by his ministry, but not obviously a large % compared with Jesus (who did 100%); possibly many people who have horrible afflictions and go in hope come away unhealed and are tempted to get bitter and cynical.
In the UK it does look very fake, because thats not our style, we tend to shun showy things, fine suits etc. He has perhaps been inspired by Kathyrn Kuhlmann, and she had some very quirky mannerisms. She sure was used to heal many. (If you ever hear Bill Prankard's testimony of how he got in the healing ministry attending a Kuhlman meeting you will be blessed.)
I read a couple of his books, and he does sound genuine in the books.

What's with the Benny Hinn questions lately? "Pastor" Benny Hinn is a snake, a fraud, a man who draws attention to himself in the name of God. God will deal with him one day, and I would sure not like to be him, that's for sure.

Yet another warning to any Christians joining this feed on Benny frenzy:
1 Ch 16:22 [Saying], Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
I used to talk smack about the word of faith pastors and God took me to the woodshed for it. Learn from my mistakes, or go to the woodshed yourselves if you must.
Benny Hinn is my brother, a mighty anointed man of God. Miracles still happen and if anything more of them are coming rather than less.

Oh yes... Benny Baby. Benny is 100% not Biblical but I'm not sure he knows that. The gospel is getting out. So in that sense I think it is a good thing. He is not Anti Christ he is just making millions of dollars fleecing GOD's flock.
Grace and Peace to you!
