What if the planet Earth was so insignificant among the vastness of the universe that God simply ignored it?

And humans had to just make up fairy tale religious text to account for God?

That resembles a cycle question. It goes around in circles.

Because for God to ignore Earth would mean Humans would have no knowledge of him yet they supposedly do.

If there is a god I think that's probably what happened. If he exists he'll probably get back to us in a few million years. By then maybe we will have done something to be worthy of notice.
