I am Christian, and I've been Christain. I live with my dad on the weekends and he believes but doesn't go to church. I really want to go to church to learn more and share my thoughts with other people who believe. I've tried talking to my dad about it but, he doesn't like talking about it. What should I do. I really want to be closer to God. P.S: I really have no donomination.

Since I have been using the secret word, eggs, now for a few minutes, I have identified perhaps that the word egg is an essential element of Yahoo Answers Religion and Spirituality category.

I mean this seriously, not as a joke, if you say you are pro-life, do you justify eating eggs because of Genesis 1, which states in the KJV that you have dominion over the animals?

Does God not have a plan for each chicken?

I'm not saying you believe in God, so don't think that i am. I am simpling saying that you atheist ,say you have no belief, in a higher form of life. That is your choice. but that is not what i am saying. You base you belief on nothing, but it is based on something. In order to believe that nothing exist, one must believe in something. I am not trying to get you to believe in what i believe or change your beliefs. As some of you think i am. thats not the case. I am simply saying that you do have a belief.

taoism is abt TAO, the way of life. and TAO is not god. true taoism strictly forbids worship of gods. why then do i see so many gods in the temple?

buddhists, buddha said nt to worship him becos he is not god. why do u all still worship him? he says hes nt the way. why do u all follow him?

catholics, why do u call mary mother of God, does that make her GREATER than GOD. why is the pope infallible? does that make him God?

MUSLIMS! why did Allah deceive ppl that that was "Jesus" on the cross? which in actual fact, your God knew that that was not Jesus.....

So in july I realized I wasnt saved, I asked Jesus to save me but I didnt beileve when I asked him ..... Now I am scared I commited the unpardonable sin . Maybe I was fighting off the holy spirit in conviction & now I am like essau trying to repent with tears . You know if you read prov one God says " Ive called and ye refused , ye set at nought at all my cousel ...I will laugh at your calamity I will mock when your fear cometh . " Maybe God is Laughing at me now cause I didnt take it seriously . I mean I did but I struggled with it . Now im scared that im just waiting for judgement . I dont know what to beileve now .

Which is not what a literal interpretation of Genesis would be, Genesis would teach god made the chicken first.

Do you believe, as I do, that the egg came first,

All christianity is a watered down contradictory version of Zoroastranism! I like Zorastranism better because that religion doesnt' contradict itself and its pretty cool. And its founder Zarathushtra founded western civilization which would make him more important than jesus. It it wasn't for Zoroastranism there would be no Christanity today!

How come christians follow what the bible says when it was written 300 yrs after christ was suposedly on earth? Whats the theory on this? Just to be clear I'm NOT attacking christianity, I'm just curious, I have read the bible but a lot of it didn't make sense to me, can anyone explain?xx
