Your thoughts please.

Chi Guy...I think this is an excellent thought to ponder over and admit I have not looked at things this way before. Thank you for your thought.

~~~chi guy,,,, As time and history continues to "progress" science has consistently debunked The Science of The Bible, and therefore the "word of god", among the other gods such as God of Wind, God of Jealousy, etc, etc, etc,. Since an Autistic Savant, such as the "Rain Man" model of Dustin Hoffman's portrayal, can ellicit an extremely High Intellect, but woefully lack hardly ANY wisdom, ie; Awareness. Therefore, "intellect to wisdom" should be reversed to "Wisdom to Intellect". Science explains The Who, What, When, Where, Why of The Physical Dimension only,,,, Religion can really only 'Claim to Succeed' in explaining The Who and Why of The Divine Realm, accepting Faith as Reason,,, and everything else the Clergy Claims as Fact.
I believe not really. Intellect is important for wisdom, the more intellectual you are, the more wisdom you may have accumulated, and the two support one another.
In my opinion, science and religion do not live in harmony supporting one another, however, both have in common the belief that they know it all, and that there is only one interpretaion - their own.
That is why I am not religious, but spiritual. My belief, "Rational Spirituality" available on the Dhaxem website contains the Divine wisdom, and the Divine Laws, it requires intellect to read it, and its perfect logic meets the criteria one may describe as "scientific". In relation to this belief, and to this belief only, yes, science would be to it as intellect to wisdom.
I hope this does not sound confusing.
Religion was the way to explain things before science could. Why does the wind blow? Why is the sky blue? Where did this dog come from? We know the scientific answers to these now. "God did it" was good enough in the old days, but it's not scientific or related to wisdom now.
It's a clever thought, but not very valid. Both science and religion attempt to explain the universe. Science focuses on "how", and religion says "who".
No.
Science to religion is provable to UN-provable or, physics to metaphysics (beyond physics)
Intellect and wisdom have no clear attachment as the reason why a person is seen as wise is not something that is teachable, and intellect means basically "able to learn" so that is teachable.
Only in america...
Science is about learning the universe (not 'creation'). Religion is about telling a story and then sticking your fingers in your ears.
Here, this chart explains it:
"Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind."
--Albert Einstein
My view is that we need both. Science deals more with the physical, religion deals more with the spiritual, though both can overlap. Pure religion and pure science will support each other.
Intellect can lead to intelligent decisions and even wise decisions, but wisdom is above intellect because intelligence requires reasons in order to make sense, whereas wisdom is intelligence itself as it is possessed by an individual. A wise man is being wise even when he sleeps, because if he is wise, that is his gift Wisdom you own, intelligence you use.
I don't believe in Creation as you do, but agree science would explain the natural world, except I call it the natural world not creation
I believe the egg came before the chicken.
