An extremely difficult job, requiring an education in psychology. Law enforcement/hostage negotiation training helps too.

Depends on whether they are against religion or merely denying a choice that they or others just don't agree with.

I don't know of any religion that will stand up when the result of our living is rendered poorly and destructively.

So to me de-programmers are all too often merely the enforcers of another bias.

It seems to me there is no mutual messiah in any of our programmes

There is abuse everywhere.

If they these de-programming missionaries are merely acting on behalf of a competing cult or culture or belief or code then they are merely mercenaries.

Any way I look at it, no matter whose side any are on or cult or culture or philosophy or nation any are in.

Most of us choose, not to balance with or within creation and use religion or patriotism or extremism or fundamentalism or socialism or communism or dogma or financial demand to justify their folly.

I don't know of any nation or icon or ideal or form of commerce or exchange or political view that will protect any that abuse the balance and Nature of our mutual host.

Religion means nothing to what or whoever lords over existence.

One persons de-programmed is another's savior in the world we sustain and cope within.

You have to be careful, they can cause more harm than help...but I came from the generation that bore them...sometimes its needed. There is such a thing as an unhealthy religion or belief system that is using and harming others...ie: Jonestown.

It's not an easy job. But somebody has to provide it as a public service, for the betterment of humanity! ; )
