If he turned my water into wine... I'd invite him in for a chat (perhaps).

No. When Jesus comes again the Mount of Olives will split down the middle with a great earthquake and that eastern sky will have a bolt of lightning from east to west like no one has ever seen before and the sky with roll back like a scroll. He'll come riding on a white horse with an army of saints on white horses following Him and in the clouds. For the believer a wonderful day and Jesus Christ will set up His Kingdom on earth.

Jesus won't return at your door, going "Hey, I'm back!" Scripture says He wil return soon in a twinkling of an eye taking His church with Him. Then there will be seven years of judgements, to get those who hadn't yet accepted Him to open their eyes. He will return a third time, (rememeber, the first time was His birth, 2nd time, taking church, and 3rd time, Glorious Appearing) in a cloud. So, until I see those things, I will not believe anyone is "Jesus". And by the way, how do they know it's Jesus' tomb? FYI: THEY DON'T! Don't believe everything you see on TV.

I always thought that christianity holds a contradiction in that they believe Jesus will return but they don't believe anyone when they claim they are Jesus.

I think it will be a long line of false prophets before the actual Jesus, and in my opinion, people will advance to the state of Christhood far before the world finds its Jesus.

It all depends which door we are talking about. If it's the door to my heart, then only God can enter that and only I can hear Him knocking and knowing my secret thoughts. Not many people or so called gods can do that. But I know Jesus can, and He doesn't play games with your mind, according to His track record.

Only proof I need is what is described in the Bible, for how he will return. For no other can duplicate how he will return.

Anyone else claiming anything is a liar....and even the bible tells us this. "...if they say I am hiding in the desert or secret place waiting for you...they lie....if they say I come bearing gifts...they lie....many will come before me in my name to deceive you... "

Great deception and lies are to come, and even will test the most faithful, for the book tells us so. But if you know the book, you won't be deceived, for you will have wisdom.

I personally have the Spirit of God guiding me and I can hear the voice of the spirit.especially when I pray,I learned how to pray from my parents, so I would simply ask the spirit and then I would know.I have seen supernatural life saving miracles,I AM guided by the Spirit of God.I would welcome him into my home.as I have already welcomed him into my heart.if he was Jesus.and even if he wasn't I would take pity on him and have him to dinner if he was hungry
for me it is not what Jesus was,but what he taught us,how to be,spiritually

I would ask for evidence to support his claim.

No, a driver's license will not do. He will have to show me that he possesses the power of a deity if he claims to be a deity. Any combination of demostrable omniscience and omnipotence would do.

No matter what, I would not believe him because Jesus sacrificed his perfect human life once and for always. The Bible even tells us that if we hear that he is in one place or another place, do not believe it.

Depends.

Have you ever had a long lost friend show up. They looked different, but you got that "Inner" bust of "OMG"? I have, and I guess I'd be looking for that inner "Whoa dude" to fill me up. Then I'd ask him, "I thought you were supposed to come on a cloud for all to see ... why the change?"

Of course not. Jesus of Nazareth was nothing more than a human being and he has been dead and gone almost 2000 years.
